Comp Ticket Park Reservation Availability...

So far, I have booked my 1 day park reservation for myself and my husband using Comp Tickets that were given to us by a family friend/ESPN employee. I still need to purchase 2 more tickets for each of my children. Availability for these "normal" tickets is wide open, but I remember when I was booking my date with the Comp Tickets, it was slim pickings.

I'm thinking about asking her for two more Comp Tickets, but not if I can't book with them on the one day we need.

Is there any way to check this Comp Ticket calendar without having these tickets in hand?

Former CM here and when I first booked my trip 3 months ago it had slim pickings for Comp tickets but since then they appear to have opened up. Looked right this second and for November only the 11th and 27th are DCA only days but all other days have both parks.

Unfortunately the CM calendar isn't the same. CM can get in using their blue ID, main gate, or comp passes each have a different set of block outs. Usually comp passes come with very few block outs. And also unfortunately I can't access any calendars. However when I was a CM 2 months ago you couldn't even really depend on the calendar because it also depends on reservations and how many have been taken and the calendar didn't update that. Things could have changed of course but I have no way of knowing. I just have many comp passes still so I went in and checked to see what day I could reserve still. And there was no way to see it before linking the tickets.

Comp tickets are not subject to blackout dates & can be used at any time. They are used like regular park hopper tickets. If you are having trouble booking for specific dates, it might be because of park availability. Once you add the comp tickets to your Disneyland account, you should be able to make reservations for your dates like normal.
