Can anyone tell me if we are allowed to bring guest (who are not staying at BLT but other resorts) into the Community center or are they strictly for DVC members staying at BLT only?

Thanks!
Jenny

The many times we have been in the AKV Community Hall we have never been asked to show our room keys, we have been asked to give them our room keys for WII remotes & games.

I would imagine it's up to the CMs there. Personally BLT's community center is my least favorite one. It just doesn't have much to do there. My SonIL and I took my grand daughter there in November during a rainy day and other than coloring there really wasn't much for her to do (5 yo). I do want to note that kids must have a parent or older child with them. While we were there the CMs made some boys (8-10 yo) leave because there was no parent with them. (They did ask if they had an older sister or brother, but they didn't). We watched the CMs turn other kids away too. We were the only people there. I would have to say that OKW has one of the best Com. Halls of the DVC resorts that we've stayed in and BWV has a huge one too.

When we stayed there last year anyone could have walked in. Our DS's went down and played video games a couple times. They were 13 and 15 and never needed a parent (thank goodness cause I would have been bored to tears). There really wasn't much else to do other than a craft.

OKW has darts, fooseball and now video games. Can't recall any other Community Halls as we have never seen them

On our last stay at Kidani Village, I walked into the Community Hall there and never had to show my room card.

I thought the room was quite nice, it felt a bit like the lounge of a safari club (that's probably the idea anyway) :-) It has a nice big balcony with view of the Savannah.
