The binder is coming together. by the end of the week it should be all done because i have alot going on. oh and i made lime green mickey head luggage tags! i will have to post a pic of them. need to gather menus then packing list then the binder should be together.

Looking at the calendar this morning and i see 16!!

It has started....the nightmares that something goes wrong with the trip, the latest was we are upgraded to club level but sis and her bf came and now all the ADRs are wrong hahahahahah!! see where my mind goes!

I looked in my room this morning and i am going to have to send out a search party for warm weather clothing. it was about 32 here in the merrimack valley area this morning, and i am waiting for shorts to come in the mail from the gap!

lost to do at work to keep me busy until it is time to blast off. I am also cooking on thanksgiving so lots and lost to keep me busy.

i just now need to get around to finding clothes to wear and the suitcase to put them in

we have all of our documents!!! picked them up from AAA yesterday!! chilly day here in MA so i am dreaming of some florida warmth!

Well here we are at 14 days!!!!! i am suppose to be in my graduate course that is online tonight but you can only listen so much about massachusetts health care reform!!!
so 14 days we have all of our needed papers ME tags ect. it would just help if i could find some time to pack! or get Mum in the mode to get her things together. this weekend i will do my best to get together what i have to buy like tide pens! new socks ...i totally wrote sox first. i also need to hit the bank to change in all of my loose change which i start collecting every time i book a vacation. for Vegas it was the money i used to upgrade our room, for disney i will use it for all of our tips, for dinner, mousekeeping, bell men, ect. i did not make mousekeeping envelops last trip i just used a page from my note book to let them know that the money was for them. i believe they really liked that and getting it every day ensures the one who does the work gets the credit. we got flowers and lots of towel creatures in our room. i can not say it was because of the tips but i am sure it showed we knew about the work they did. we are getting down to the wire, with alot to do at work i am losing my disney mojo. i am also sad little sis is not coming with us. hopefully this is the usual disney low and i will perk up when i start packing or when i am dragging myself out of bed at 330am on december 4th.

i am also trying to figure out how my mother is not going to kill me for updating this trippie from my iphone while sitting idle in WDW! ok back to class i should probably say something smart! oh and pray that the pups do not start barking when i try to chime in! happy thursday night all who are reading....can not wait to get out of class so i can watch The Office!!!! that is where the title of this trippie comes from after all ....the party planning committee vs the committee to plan parties!

boring update but i booked a car service to take us to the airport. i do not want to torture sis with having to take us to logan at 4am on a cold december day when she is not coming with us! we as kids used to have all of our fancy outings in limos, dances, easter sunday, airport. well dad was a funeral director....we had direct access to a limo hahahah but this time it is a real car service. if any one had read my tr from 2 years ago it was a divorce trip.....soooooo.
Someone on a december thread mentioned that it was forecasted to be in the 80s for my dates
break out the shorts hold back on the hats gloves and uggs

well off into a chilly afternoon in the merrmack valley. i promise myself to do some organizing for the trip this weekend. unfortunatly unless bloomingdales has a sale on theam park wear i may not be sucessful!

the countdown has started 12 hours until we hit the single digets! and what have i done? NOTHING not a one thing i needed to get done is. no suitcases out so no packing has started. no list of things needed. no gathering of needed sun screen, soap, purel ect. mum asks ...do we even need sunscreen? the sun does not disapear when the heat does! and considering i am the color of the white of snow i will be bringing gallons of sun screen!

ok so 10 update....
Nothing has changed. SHOCKING!!!

Day One

Well here is a day by day breakdown of what I hope to do….

Very early departure from home heading to Logan airport to fly off to WDW! We are using Magical Express to take us to the Wilderness Lodge. I am hopping this gets us to the resort at about the noon time frame. Run through the usual check in process, in an absolute perfect world our room would be ready…..probably not! So then what, it depends on how hungry we are. So it is lunch at Roaring Forks or we hop right on the boat and head to the Magic Kingdom. The plan calls for an afternoon strolling around the MK, not really heading for anything specific just getting the first day fill of magic. If our room is not ready at arrival I think we will head back to the resort when the room is ready, to check things out. We have dinner reservations at Kona so some time before we hit the monorail for the Poly. There is a torch lighting ceremony at 6 I believe and I think we are going to try to catch that on our way in. After dinner I expect us to be quite tired and ready to relax, but first I think we will head to the Contemporary to see how it is decorated for Christmas as well as going to the Grand Floridian to see the gingerbread house. Then back for some much needed rest. That is unless I somehow came up with an upgrade to first class and I was able to sleep the whole flight.

I just wanted to jump in and say "hello". Saw your posts over on the WL thread and now read through your PTR. Sounds like you and your mom will have a great trip.

We will be at VWL Dec 6 - 12, so maybe we'll see you there! Possibly at Roaring Forks early in the morning.

Day Two

Friday up and at em early! Well not too early, we have the whole day planned for Epcot and the surrounding resorts.

Also Epcot has extra magic hours tonight so we really do not have to rush too much. The weather is going to decide if we go back to the room at any point...if it is warm all day then we will stay out all day but if it gets cool we will head back for a few change and return.

The plan is to tour Epcot, taking time to really enjoy the countries for once!
last trip our tour of Epcot was conducted on a day where it was hotter than the surface of the sun. It then downpoored for the rest of the day resulting in a wait for illuminations that involved a box of soggy nachos and lots of ponchos!

I love the rides and all but last trip it was way too hot to see the counties so this year I want to see them all. Goal #1! Grey Goose Slusshie!! i dont care if it is before noon, Its 5 oclock somewhere!!!! that said margaritas too! Creps in france too. But only if they have a nutella one....any one know if they have a nutella crep? prob not but i had one in vegas that was to die for so here is me with fingers crossed!

Somewhere along the way I plan to hit the international gateway and go over to the yacht and beach club as well as the boardwalk to see their Christmas decorations. I have not been over to this area in a while....maybe the last time i stayed at the lodge 97! So i forget how long the walk it ect. any input on how we should attack the resort touring??

We are doing the Candlelight Processional package at Tutto for dinner. Have had dinner at the old Alfredo's so i know what it looks like, and the new menu looks good. but i am a bit of a foodie and have had some amazing Itallian food in my life and that is just at Sunday dinners, so i hope it does not disapoint!

Then where ever the night takes us. If we have seen and done everything than we will head out if not we will tour as long as out legs hold out. Or i get one more grey goose slushie for good measure!

Well here we are with 2 1/2 days to go!

i have nothing done NOTHING!!!! the suitcases are not even out of the basement! i have not done laundry i have not organized paper work nothing!!! i am a failure hahahah

i did hit target for travel size items needed and sunscreen but that is it. the one thing i did manage to sucessfuly aquire was a cold! i think it was from the lack of sleep thursday night and the standing in the cold for a few hours early on friday morning. much to do...laundry maybe tonight definetly getting suitcases out and placing some items in thier general area. oh i am so un organized!

things are going to get busy around here so the following are my thoughts on day 3 and 4!

Day Three

Saturday, this is parade taping day at the MK so we are avoiding all of that. We are aiming for EMH at Hollywood studios this morning. An 8am theme park call may be hard on mum but I want to try out toy story so it is a must. I figure we will tour the park a bit in the morning hit some of the favorite rides then go to Downtown Disney for a bit. Well this part of the plan is up in the air. Do we go back to the resort relax, rest go to the park for dinner and the Osborne lights then downtown Disney or do it in the afternoon. It’s a toss up on what the crowds are going to be like who knows. I like to leave some of the plans open to how we are feeling that day so we do not feel like we are constantly on schedule. So it is dinner at Mama Melrose tonight then on to the Osborne Family Lights, then maybe downtown Disney maybe back to the resort to chill out by the fire.

Day Four

Sunday, up and out to Animal Kingdom. The plan is to spend the morning in the Animal Kingdom. Mum’s goal is to see the Lion King show so we will do that the safari, Everest of course and see some of the animals. I think I can pass on the rapids this trip and keep dry. After a morning in the animal kingdom we are headed back to the resort for some nap and relaxation time. Dinner at the Whispering Canyon Café in the lobby then it is off to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party! All night, we are going to close down the park!!!!! …..hope I can handle massive amounts of that awful coffee.
There is also a big ? on this afternoon, we have friends from work coming down this day and we want to meet up at some point either today or tomorrow.

Day Five

Departure Day
Well as in all trips there is always a day you have to go home. I do not suspect our ME pick up being until 4pm ish so we have most of the day to do what we want to. Either meet up with our friends or hit attractions we want to do over again. We have been known to do all 4 parks in one day but we will have to see about the crowd level to see if it can be done. And that would be it back home to Massachusetts where it will probably be about 30 degrees colder than Orlando. Back home to sissy and to the fur babies! Leaving Disney is always a bummer because you have waited so long to go, so my only mantra to get through this day without breaking down and demanding that I be left in Orlando is that my fur babies are at home!

so 24 hours from now i will be sitting on the plane heading off to see the mouse! excited yes...prepared NO! caught an awful cold that is holding me back from doing everything. i managed to finishe laundry last night, got the suitcases out of the basement but there is not thing in them yet. need to go to the bank, target, get everything charged and pack. and try to work on my final for grad school that i think i have just come to accept is not going to be worked on until i get back.....i fully dislike the class anyways.

so as i sit here still congested to the brim with a headache the size of my volkswagen at least i can say tomorrow i will be in Walt Disney World!!!!!

ps...i already changed the title of my thread to say i am LIVE because if i do not remember to do it now i will not hahah so tomorrow i will start posting what i can with my iphone....weather, attraction times, ect. hope my mum does not get fully irritated with the clicking of the iphone

We made it finaly. Issue getting to the airport oi!!! The wilderness is lovely, they gave us a 1st floor room ick so we asked for another. We are on the third floor inner court yard nice view! So far roaring forks lunch was very good. We hit MK not too busy nice warm weather perfect for a little cruse around the park. We are off to the poly for dinner tonight then back to the pool and some rest we got up at 330am!! Check in later.

well it appears that someone in disney just did not want me to post hahah. for some reason in the parks my iphone did not transmit data well at all. the system was very slow all week and prevented me from opening web pages. Just getting around to laundry and writting a final, so i will post some info soon!

We plugged my dh Verizon phone into his lap top. Sometimes we had great reception, other times, it was really slow. It was like a grey cloud sitting over WDW some days. No reception at all.
