Comments on Hilton-Anaheim and/or Best Western Park Place

I have quotes for both these hotels for July. It cost $10 more to stay at the Best Western. Can some of you share any experiences you have had at either of these places.

I haven't stayed at the Hilton Anaheim, but I have at the Best Western Park Place. For an offsite hotel, you can't beat the location of the Park Place. It is *LITERALLY* across the street from the walk-in entrance on Harbor. Many of the other hotels claim they're across the street, but most are really across the street and a little down the block. This one, you walk out the driveway/walkway and you're right at the crosswalk.

The rooms were plenty clean, beds nice, as were the staff we encountered. Our only complaint was that neither our radio alarm in the room nor the wake-up calls worked, so it's best to take your *own* alarm clock.

I'd definitely stay there again, and would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay off-site but near Disneyland.

It's been a few years, but we also had a great experience there. Room was nice and clean, and it was extremely convenient being right across the street, especially after a long day at the park!

another thing to take into consideration is the cost of parking. The Hilton charges I think around 10 to 15 dollars per night with valet more. We stay at the Hilton because we are members of their HHonors club which gives great benefits if you stay enough times. The Hotel is real nice with an outdoor pool and 4 hottubs with 2 restricted to adults only. They are quite a walk away if you miss the shuttles. Hope this helps.
