Ok. I think I have narrowed down where I would like to dine on my upcoming trip. Will be going solo for 10 glorious days on the MYW plan. What do you think of these?

Lunch:
Whispering Canyon Cafe
Tusker House (CS)
Casey's (CS)
Cosmic Ray's (CS)
Columbia Harbour House (CS)
Yorkshire Country Fish (CS)
Movies Foodcourt (CS)

Dinner:
Rose & Crown (CP Dinner Package)
50's Primetime
Crystal Palace
Cindy's
O'Hana's
Le Cellier
Spoodles
Cape May Buffet
Concourse Steakhouse

Am looking for one more sit down place. Where else would you recommend? I should mention that I'm a picky eater.

What about one of these?
1. Liberty Tree Tavern
2. Grand Floridian Cafe
3. ESPN
4. Sci-Fi
5. Kona
6. Alfredo's in EPCOT

Thank you in advance!

How could you go wrong? You've covered alot! As for the one more to pick, I would think Grand Floridian Cafe would be nice.

Wow... that's a lot of choices.

The lunch choices look pretty good, the only thing I might change would be the Yorkshire Country Fish Shop-- just SO wasn't good the one time I tried it and I think there is much better counter service to be had at Epcot. (That said, some people swear by their fish and chips, so maybe it's my tastebuds that are off...)

Dinner choices look good to-- a nice mix of buffets, character meals and full service.

As for your additional choice, I say Grand Floridian Cafe too. It seems you already have a lot of MK choices, have two great Epcot sit-downs already and are already dining at the Boardwalk and Ploy. So that leaves Sci-Fi and GFC and for dinner I think GFC is a better use of the MYW dining.

Have a great solo trip!

Texian & Solo,

Thanks for your comments & suggestions.

Anyone else??

You have some evry good choices. We especially enjoyed CHH (cs) and Crystal Palace (very good buffet food!). For another ts, I would add either LTT (more fun, relaxed atmosphere) or Alfredo's (wonderful food in a busier, more gorwn-up atmosphere).
Good luck choosing!

LTT is a nice place to eat, but if you're not up for characters, I'd recommend Kona Cafe at the Polynesian. Either one is quite good.

Have a great trip!

Thanks cocodog & jarestel for your input. I was thinking that if I did do LTT, it would be for lunch, instead of dinner, as I'll be there solo and would hate to waste the food.

Any other comments?

I loved Kona for lunch or dinner! And it is a quick monorail from MK. The Polynesian is so relaxing to wander through.

Happy planning!

I'm starting to have 2nd thoughts regarding O'Hana's. It just seems like alot of food for one person. Is it just me?

Wow, I think you've made some great choices! As for an additional, I always like Sci-Fi. I also love Alfredos, but it can feel pretty crowded sometimes.

As you are going solo, I would absolutely go to Kona instead of O'Hana.

Happy planning - and dining! Have a great weekend! :flower:

I would do Kona over Ohana for a solo trip. My TA can't say enough good things about Kona. She told me she tells everyone, regardless of what resort they are staying at, to try to eat there. Since I'll be staying at the Poly, I booked Kona plus Ohana also. Would love to try a solo trip one day. Have Fun!!!!!!!! :goodvibes

Alfredo's or Kona would be my pick. You seem to have most offerings covered very well but I see no Italian food, so this might be a good choice, I know they get mixed reviews, but we hit it every time! One of our favorites.

Enjoy:
Carol

I've never dined at Alfredo's before for Italian, just Tony's.

I did try Kona back in 2002 and was not that thrilled, but thought it might have just been an off night.

Have not dined at for lunch at LTT since 2002, but thought it was ok.

Never dined at GFC, ESPN or Alfredo's before.

Am beginning to have second thoughts on the restaurants below. Am wondering if there is someplace better.

O'Hana's (lot of food for just one person, don't you think?)
Spoodles
Cape May Buffet
Concourse Steakhouse
