This is the first wave of names and there are 79 families on it currently (I heard this from who counted them).

Our name was on the pic Scott posted!! I just completed my 54th DCL earlier this month.

DCL sent out an email to all eligible cruisers and asked us to choose the name we wanted on the board and a symbol out of a choice of 4 and the date we started with DCL. We submitted our form a few months ago and was happy to see us on the board!!

They just asked the year that you started with DCL. We actually started with the Maiden Voyage of the Disney Magic on July 30, 1998 so definitely sailed the inaugural year.

Friends of ours just posted a photo of their name on a plank.

We’re platinum and are almost done with DCL, so we’ll never make it.

I guess this has some appeal to those who have their names written on this fence. I'm not jealous but it's not something I'm going to take any notice of or stop to look at. However, congrats to those on it who will have that opportunity to take a photo of themselves alongside their name. 50 cruises is a lifetime commitment of almost exclusively Disney vacations, especially if not a local resident of a nearby port, and deserve some kind of loyalty recognition.
