My gear arrived about 1.5 hrs ago...the box was totally smashed, like UPS dropped it... I opened up the box and all the contents were intact. The smashed part was where there were no items and no padding...hmm.

Anyway, took a few quick snaps with it. I'll have to wait until tonight to download them and see how they are. I will keep you all updated...

ups must be having butterfingers...they dropped a shipment of husband's and broke it last week( $300+ worth of paint , what a mess that must have been)

just a "paranoid me" thought, maybe you should report it, what if something happens and the lens stops working down the road and they said it was dropped, i know canon at least that invalidates the warrenty

and mabas if you do start throwing your glass away, i'll be happy to "recycle" for you
