One more Epcot update was received from Maiky this morning, this one from Iván's birthday lunch yesterday at the UK's...















"We began with the Imperial Sampler and later ordered our favorite on the five, the Strongbow."









"For our appetizers I chose the Scotch Egg (Golden-fried Hard-boiled Egg wrapped in Sausage Meat with Mustard Sauce)."





"And Iván chose the Trio of United Kingdom Cheese."





"For our entrées I ordered the Bangers and Mash (traditional English sausages, with braised cabbage and bacon, mashed potatoes and shallot gravy)."





"And Iván ordered the Grilled New York Strip Steak (with seasonable vegetables, fried onion rings, green beans, mushrooms and red wine sauce)."










"For dessert I chose Mandy's Mess (pound cake with fresh berries and Ribena syrup)."





"And Iván chose the Jaffa Tarts (Orange cream-filled cakes with chocolate ganache, raspberry sauce and fresh oranges)."

Our next update was the first one we received from a new reporter who arrived at Disney World on Sunday.


She said, "Good morning! It's aidansmommy reporting in! We actually arrived a day earlier (Sunday) and our first stop was at the Beach Club's..."









"I had the Hurricane Hanna Burger. Yum!"

And not long after we received our first update from mommy (aidansmommy) this morning, we then also heard from Dad (MaineDisneyDad).

He and his family arrived at Disney World yesterday and sent us this first update.

He said, "We spent the afternoon in Downtown Disney and decided to have dinner at...

"The wife and I weren't very hungry so we split the awesome app platter. it was all really good."

Great to see a CG review, shame the service was a bit patchy and the pacing of the meal was off

This was our main issue last time we ate at CG - great food but poor pacing of courses

She said, "We rented a cabana for half a day!"

Wo-Hoo on the Cali Grill Update!! I can't wait to be trying it next month!

I really hope the Citrico's Pork Belly is still with the creamed corn next month.. Corn is getting out of season so we will see!

OK i love the figment cake how much was that and which bakery did you use?

Side note we get to wdw Friday to live report and we had very grand plans lots of new places about 13 TS meals and some qs as well but we had a emergency at home and have had to cancel all but 2 TS meals and switch to qs but we will be in disney so I can't be sad we plan to book a bounce back with free dining for next year and get all those TS in haha. We are still excited to report. We got qs free dining last year and I really struggled to find more then burgers until I came across a dining report all qs that saved us and opened my eyes to what's really out there so I hope I can return the favor.

Anniebean- I know what you mean! I have been with my BF for 10 years and everyone always asks us when we are getting engaged! We can't go anywhere without them asking!!

Yeah, we've not been together for that long, but my friend who has dated the same man for almost 12 years now was the main one doing the questioning!!

First we have this lunch update...


He said, "Today we went to our first ever Disney water park, Blizzard Beach."



"We had lunch at Lottawatta Lodge."





"We shared an order of chicken nuggets and a pizza."










"Allie had Apple Juice, and we had our first real experience with an RFID mug."










"For only a few dollars more than a couple of cokes it was nice to be able to get refills. The mug is a different size than the resort mugs. The RFID machines worked fine at one station, but another was dead and not accepting any mugs, so they were filling cups and pouring into mugs for refills."​

Next was Paul's two-part Epcot update, starting with an afternoon snack update from France's bakery...














"We shared a vanilla white chocolate eclair and it was delicious. This was the best tasting snack credit of the trip so far."





"We enjoyed it while Allie slept in her stroller."







Then later Paul sent this dinner update.


"Tonight we had an appointment with the princesses in Norway."











"This was Melissa's appetizer plate. Everything was yummy but her favorite was the beet salad."







"This was Allies plate. She really enjoyed the fruit."







"And this was Paul's after he had eaten his salmon, which was delicious."





"For entrees we ordered the short rib...







...and the beef tips.







"And Allie got the kids chicken."





"The two adult entrees were amazing. The short ribs were fork tender and sitting on top of the best potatoes I've ever had. The beef tips were delicious too."



"For dessert they brought this:"





"The chocolate mousse cake was very rich and Allie's favorite was the apple cake. The rice pudding was Paul and Melissa's favorite. Speaking of favorite, here is Allie with one of her favorite princesses:"






"Oh, Allie also got a birthday cupcake that she licked all of the frosting off and ate exactly one gummy bear off of the plate before either one of us could get to our cameras."

Is the water parks mug bigger?

Yes, it seems to be. It is bigger around and just slightly shorter. Right now there doesn't seem to be a way to pay to activate a resort mug at the water parks, so we bought a water park one for $9.99. You can reactivate them for $6.49 for an additional day.

Our First Update of the Day today was sent to us this morning by a new reporter, Marblies.

Debby and her daughters, Jessica & Jasmine, arrived at Disney World yesterday and sent their first update from Epcot's...









She said, "We weren't feeling very hungry so we just shared a meal of nachos."




"The nachos were tasty, but the salsa was not! Portion was huge for one person."


For their drinks, they chose...



"Both of these were good, but we liked the mango a lot better."



And then for dessert they had...





"The churritos were meh, but not stale. The caramel sauce was very runny."



They also sent us an update from their visit to...










"Many flavors were out! However, we couldn't use that as an excuse to avoid the novelty of the Beverly because it was still there!"
