We just got back on Sunday from our weeklong trip and both my husband and myself have itchy bumps on our ankles and top of our feet. Is that heat rash? I thought it was some kind of bug bite - we were at AKL after all - LOL! I hope it gets better soon because we are going back on an unexpected return trip next Thursday! Another weird thing was the week we were there not 1 drop of rain! My dd was praying for a little rain to cool off in !

Great report and glad you are loving BLT - we are planning on going next year - we could not get in on 8 days notice (haha) so SSR it is!

This will probably spiral this thread out of control, but if you have multiple small red bites it could be bed bugs.

Hi All ...

As always, thanks for the kind words!

I'll try to respond to the various questions in no particular order ...

As far as the fireworks, unfortunately, the walls are still up around Pooh but I just love the feeling of being right under them. You CAN see the castle, but it's a whole lot like watching a tennis match ... on a really BIG court to see the fireworks at the castle and overhead.

I never did do EE ... we're hoping to make it back ...

My DW and I both have a bit of that rash on our ankles ... we've experienced it here before and have found out it's some sort of heat rash from the hot pavement. And BOY has it been hot! Except very recently ... we seem to be in a more normal pattern of rain which helps cool things off.

njtinkmom ... I'm SOOOOO jealous!!!! At this point in our vacation we are trying desperately to fit everything in and even thinking about an extra day or two ... I can dream, can't I?

Well ... my DD did the AIE yesterday at the Studios and won the show she was in and did the finale last night. She really sang well but didn't win. She lost to a 38 y.o. minister ... very nice guy who did a nice job. All in all, it was a great experience and I'm crazy proud of her as always!

Today, we are off to Trails End buffet ... one of our favorites. We hope to get Ken as our server ... if anyone knows him, he is just one of the nicest cast members we have met! Then we're off to the MK by launch, hoping to catch the "mountains". Feeling the vacation slip away and since we've moved to BLT we want more!!!

Can't say enough how much we love it here ... this is our new favorite!

Well, I'll try to write a bit more later ... we're off and running!
