Coming in the night before 4 day cruise...where to meet DCL people in airport??

Asking for mom and sis who are leaving in a week for first cruise...

They will be staying Saturday night at an airport hotel and are wondering when and how to meet up with the DCL representatives. Do they need to go back into the airport with their luggage or can they just meet the cruise line busses outside baggage claim??

I'll give this a bump so hopefully someone who has actually done it will see it and respond.

What I believe happens from reading others posts is that when you check in with the Hyatt you tell them you are cruising the next day with DCL. They then give you a sheet of paper that tells you what time to put your luggage out in the hall (with your DCL tags on them) and when and where to check in with the busses.

A number of people have done it and I think it is quite painless.

you cant miss the disney cruise cast members in the air port they are right after you get off the mono rail at the airport heading to luggage pick up in the lower level

If they are staying at the Hyatt, they would get their luggage from baggage claim the night they fly in, then head to the Hyatt and check in. Make sure they tell the desk clerk they are cruising Disney. Then in the morning they will set their luggage outside their room between 7-8am and Disney will pick it up and transport to the ship. Cruisers meet in the Hyatt lobby and a DCL Rep will escort them to the bus checkin. It is all very painless and easy!
Now, if they are staying at a different hotel: they will need to keep a hold of their luggage the entire time, and bring it with them to baggage claim area to find the DCL Rep that will take care of it from there. Then they board the busses right there.
