My DD7 wants her face painted just like that. She made me scroll back up to look closer at that picture. I couldn't really focus due to the many castle pictures you posted so it took me a moment or two. She wants to know where she can get the face painting done.

I can't believe how fast time is flying. You'll be there so soon. How's the organizing of all the "thingies" you'll need on the trip going?

I worked today and I have to work again later in the week but I keep thinking I only have one more weekend before we go I'm hoping to start packing today or tomorrow, that will help me feel better. The face painting stations are in all the parks. I can't remeber the exact locations, maybe someone out there could help us? They have pictures of what they can do and I believe it was about $15 to do. Prices may have gone up. Bless your daughter for wanting to look closer. I have a picture of my two in that white outfit your dd wore after BBB. I'll have to post it for you.

When I was here when I was expecting dd3 and I was so nauseated I loved the mashed potatoes so much. They helped a lot

OK so remember when I said I wasn't going to be out buying all that last minute stuff, I was going to be super organized Yeah right. I went out today to buy gum for everyone and candy for the plane. I also picked up some tissue travel packs and batteries for a couple of light up toys we will bring with us. I found small ones at the Disney Store a couple of years ago and they are nice and small but give off alot of colored light. I had to put new batteries in the Cars phone to bring on the plane as well as the tamogotchi. I needed batteries for my solitaire game. I think I have a couple more CD's to put on my Ipod touch and I should have a good selection of Disney tunes to listen to enroute. I think this year (because I always bring too much) the kids will only bring a couple of things to play with on the plane. Dd8 has a Nintendo DS and her Ipod shuffle, and a journal to keep track of her trip. Dd3 has her cd player, leapster and I'm sure the inflight entertainment will keep her busy. She really likes Treehouse TV. They will sleep a bit as well since we'll be up at about 3 am. I found last time dd3 kept dropping her crayons/markers and we lost a few. I think we'll pass on coloring this time. I really have to decide on what snacks to bring. That's another area I bring too much. We only have an hour in Toronto to get through customs and change planes. There isn't enough time to buy a snack there. We usually have to buy something on the plane.
I took out my mini pharmacy, never know when a cold or stomach flu might hit. It remeinds of a story of when we were on our last cruise when I was expecting dd8. We had great table mates on that cruise and we really had a great time every night at dinner. The fellow who was sitting beside me had red hair and had spent way too much time out in the sun that day and he was feeling really nauseated. I asked him if he had any Gravol (Dramamine in the U.S.). He was in construction for work and he said to me gravel?, why would I want to eat gravel? We laughed so hard at that.

I also started my gifts from Disney list. Does anyone else find when they get to the stores there they forget who they said they'd bring a present back for? Tell me it's not just my aging brain I printed out the postcard requests for the pay-it-forward thread. I love doing those. The girls got theirs yesterday.

So in 14 days will be our 3rd day at Disney. Today we'll be at Downtown Disney enjoying all it's shopping and a stop at Ghiradelli.

Then we'll be at Boma for dinner and get to enjoy Animal Kingdom Lodge.
We have to stay here one year. Enjoy. dd8 shows you a hidden Mickey, her face painting from DD and there are pictures from breakfast and dinner. This is the first year we will be going there for dinner.

This will be our 4th day and we'll be spending it at Hollywood Studios. We're having dinner at 50's Prime Time Cafe. Can you believe I don't have one picture of 50's? I guess I'll be taking lots this time.

Apparently we shop the same places because my daughter has that Please Mom Canadian tank top too.

I agree with you. My sister always tapes Oprah and watches the shows on the weekend, she's her idol. Checked in on your pre trippie, you must be getting excited too. So in 14 days we'll be Animal Kingdom and will go to Coral Reef for dinner. I know I have pictures of Coral Reef but they must be not digital. Anyway, we can't wait to ride EE and my family and I have never been on Kali River Rapids. DD8 wants to ride Dinosaur. I haven't been on the Safari in a few years either. Lots to do although this is our least favorite park but we do have things we like there. Here are some pics.

So we'll be back at Magic Kingdom. I believe we spend the most days at this park. I think as the kids get older we'll spend less time here but for little ones it's the best. Queenofallthings and Jasmine have been to Tutto Italia before but we haven't so we're really looking forward to dinner there.

14 days from now we'll be halfway through our vacation This day will be a pool day and the dinner at Whispering Canyon. Yet another restaurant we haven't been to before but Jasmine and Queenofallthings have. She hasn't told me too much so we will enjoy all the "surprises". I can't wait, and I hear the milkshakes are really good.

I can't believe we only have a week left before we leave. I finished our Mousekeeping envelopes today. I just used some stickers I had bought for the kids of the Pooh characters. They turned out really well. I did take a picture but haven't downloaded it yet.
I pulled out most of the clothes for dd3 today. I really dislike deciding what to take and trying to think how many spills we will have in a day. She's in the "must change entire outfit if there's any dirt on it" phase. Is 14 pairs of shorts and tops and 14 dresses too much Apparently I need to weigh the :I must do on vacation" with "I'm too lazy to do on vacation"

I went out today to buy more sleeveless shirts for the sweltering heat Man I don't like shopping when I told myself I had a year to plan this trip and lose weight for it. What is it And then I get all mad at myself. Guess there isn't much I can do about now unless the Fairy Godmother comes over and does a little Bibbity Bobbity Boo

We had to draw names and seating assignments for the window seat and who gets to sit with Auntie aka Queenofalthings on the plane trips. Things go much smoother when there is a plan in place for Mini-Montana. dd8 is really flexible and gives in to her sis all the time because she thinks that's the right thing to do.

What to buy, what to buy?

So I spent the majority of today doing laundry and getting started on the packing. Dd3 is almost done as is dh. Right now I'm trying to get the things that need cushioned packed before I start the next level of packing. This is the first time I've been on a holiday for longer than 10 days in 20 yrs so I'm rusty with the packing. I packed a bunch of laundry detergent and about 2 outfits for each day for the girls. I'm thinking I'd rather have it and not need it than the other way around. 6 more sleeps and I'm not sleeping. You'll notice the post is earlier tonight because last night I spent so much time on the the DIS and then I was still up at 2 am I also finally figured out the TGM site. It's amazing what you do when you're pressured. Apparently I work really well under pressure Tonight I will log out early and get to sleep early. My plan is to be up early all next week so I'm good and tired by Friday and then I'll be able to get a few hours of sleep Friday night before the 2:30 am wake up. Oh and by the way Jasmine doesn't like to fly and now she's getting all stressed about that. I needed to warn the girls to leave their cousin alone on the plane because she may lose it and snap at them Good times are on their way
