We had a sleep in day today and relaxed. We had a friend that lives in the area and he picked us up and we went shopping for a little while.
After lunch we went to DVC and signed all the papers. It took about an hour and a half when it was all said and done and we were back in the room. Again I had a sore throat and a headache and really felt yucky today. The last place I wanted to go was Whispering Canyon! I really had to suck it up and go anyway. I took some drugs and away we went. I was in Disney after all!
I was so looking forward to this dinner. We had never been here before but had heard all about it from Jasmine and Queen. Unfortunately I felt awful and it is not a place to go when you have a headache. Its very loud here, not a place to go if you are looking for romance and intimate conversation. I was determined to make the best of it. Im in Disney and Im going to have a good time, thats all there is too it.
We took the bus to MK and then to the resort water transportation to Wilderness Lodge. We really enjoyed that. You get to see a different view of the resorts, take some pictures, and sit back and enjoy the ride. We got a closer view of Bay Lake Tower, although no official announcement had been released at that time.
I love this picture, she's so beautiful, isn't she?

Once at WL we had to wait a while for our ADR and looked around. The kids played with the Lincoln Logs and of course dh had to get in on the fun and show them how its done.
There's Daddy getting in on the fun. He just can't help himself!
Boys will be boys! We were seated at a big round table and met our waiter Bob. I cannot say enough about Bob. He was amazing and made our experience here so much fun. He was from Newark I believe, complete with the accent. He came over to the table and asked if I was there using my name but shortened it up. He was so funny. Very dry sense of humour that we really enjoyed. Queen and I ordered the skillet and would highly recommend it. The salad with the apple vinaigrette was so yummy and the mashed potatoes and corn on the cob. We asked for more and Bob happily brought more. The kids loved getting up and taking crayons where they were needed and we made mini Montana ask Bob for ketchup. My kids actually think ketchup is a food group! They thought that was fun, and the pony races. The antics that go on in this place are so worth the trip. Especially when they called all the adult men up and made them do Im a little tea pot. I have never laughed so hard. It is so great when everyone gets into the fun there. If you are usually a wallflower you need to be prepared to step out of your box and have a great time. At one point Mini Montana had gone to the bathroom with dh I think, and Bob sits down in her seat and has a French fry and says oh these are cold, they dont taste so good cold. Once she came back Mini Montana didnt eat very much so Bob crouches down beside her and asks her whats wrong. She tells him she has a sore tummy. Shes not even eating her cookies he brought her. He asks if he can wrap them up for her and she says yes. Now I take her to bathroom and she leaves a deposit and feels much better. Now shes talkative and full of energy! When we get back to the table Bob asks if we have any luck in the bathroom and was so happy to hear about the package deposit. Now really, what wait staff do you know that would even care about that? He brings out 6, count them, 6 cookies, all wrapped up in foil like a Mickey. She was thrilled, actually we all were. Thats what I love so much about Disney, people go above and beyond what you expect of them and you have such a memorable time because of it. Bob got a really nice tip this night.
We headed out to the boat dock and could hear music and were lucky enough to catch some of the water pageant. None of us had ever seen this and it was so great, a great ending to such a great evening. I didnt write down what time we returned to the hotel. You know I carried around a little notebook to put these details down in but I was so tired most days I never thought to write things down, maybe next trip.
Up next Hollywood Studios.
