Has anyone stayed here? We need a hotel for after our Disney trip....and the rates here were reasonable and they sleep 6!! After Disney we are going to Sea World and Universal for two days. It doesn't have to be fancy...just clean. We just need a place to sleep.

Thanks!
Jessica

I'm staying there at the end of June for 2 nights - it seems to be located about 1/2 between Universal and Seaworld. The majority of reviews I have read have been favorable. I also got a good rate.

Perfect! Thanks for the reply. We are going to both Sea World and Universal after Disney!!

Enjoy your trip,
Jes

Stayed there last year.Rooms were clean!Elevator was hot and has a odor.Bar was nice by the pool,,,You are in between disney...seaworld and universal studios(pretty much either go left or right or turn to go to seaworld) ...and also next to a hospital.A wall mart is down the street.I would stay there again if the price was right.Internet did not work during my stay,The breakfast was ok ..nothing to brag about...hope this helps..

Thanks. I'll avoid the elevator and take the steps. I was not expecting a lot for the $ 54.00 night rate. As long as its clean.

Is this the one on Turkey Lake Rd? If so, I just booked this hotel last night on Hotwire for $33.00 per night for two nights. It came out to $80 with taxes & fees. Also, if you have an Entertainment book, there's a Hotwire rebate coupon in there for $10 off, so that brought it down to $70 for both nights of our stay. You have to book through a certain Hotwire link (the address is in the Entertainment book on the page where the Hotwire coupons are).

To find this hotel on Hotwire, search for Orlando hotels. Then, only search the area that says Sea World I-Drive South. Only 5 hotels will come up in the search once you narrow it down to this area. On my computer, it's the second hotel down from the top. Here are the amenities listed:

Suite -- A guest room designed for an extended stay and/or more spacious than the average hotel room
Smoke-free rooms
Complimentary Breakfast
Pools (at least one pool)
Laundry Facilities
Hi-Speed Internet Access

$33.00
Nights: no of Nights:2
Rooms: no ofRooms:1
Subtotal: $66.00
Tax recovery charges & fees: $14.43
Total price: $80.43

It's 2 1/2 stars. The first time I checked, it was $34 and then it went down to $33 so it could be either price. The $10 rebated gets credited to your account after you mail in the required paperwork.

The Turkey Lake Rd is the one I booked. When I tried Hotwire for my dates, the price was $ 47.00 a night. It will save about $ 9.00-$10.00 off total bill from my current reservation directly through Choice Hotel Site. I will keep checking Hotwire to see if I can get a better deal, before I decide to book through Hotwire and cancel my reservation. Thanks for info.

$33 a night for a suite?? Damn! Let us know how that hotel is cause the price is amazing.

We are back from our trip. Spent 2 nights at the Comfort Suites on Turkey Lake Rd. (for our Sea World days) for $33.00 per night via Hotwire. I still have to mail in my rebate form for the $10 back and will do that soon.

The hotel was great for the cost! Our room did face I-4, but we ran the air conditioner on vent only all night, so the fan noise blocked out the traffic sounds completely.

The pool was great and had a cute tiki bar there. We ordered hamburgers and hot dogs for dinner from the tiki bar on our first night. There was a pull-out couch bed that DD slept on. I don't know if I'd call the room a "suite" even though it was a tad bigger than a regular hotel room. It was longer but narrower. The room was clean though and the beds were pretty comfortable.

The free breakfast was great! There were several waffle machines with mix ready to go, so the kids made their own waffles. There was fruit (whole oranges, apples, grapefruit), doughnuts, coffee cake, three different kinds of cold cereal, oatmeal, hard-boiled eggs, milk, juices, bagels, bread (with toasters), and a couple of different juice machines. On Sunday morning there were also scrambled eggs, bacon, and omelettes. I'd say to get to the breakfast BEFORE 8:15 if you can. It starts to get really busy after that and the selections go down. The ladies there did their best to keep it stocked but so many people started coming at once that they couldn't keep up with the demand.

Oh, there's also free shuttles to Sea World and Universal.

Near the front desk there is a Sea World counter with a bunch of coupon cards for B1G1 Free meals and discounts at places like TGI Fridays, Buca de Peppo, and Ci-Ci's pizza. Just down the road was a Super Wal-Mart and various restaurants.

I would definitely stay there again. Not the best place in the world, but a really great value for the price and free breakfast to boot.
