Has anyone stayed at Comfort Inn & Suites Zoo SeaWorld Area? (CA462) 2485 Hotel Circle Pl., San Diego

The reviews on trip advisor seem okay and the price is great, but for some reason I get nervous to book a hotel I've never stayed at! This will be our 1st trip to San Diego.

Let me know any opinions please! :confused3

I'm interested to hear reviews as well. We are booked for this hotel in July. I had originally made a reservation at the Residence Inn Mission Valley, but the Comfort Inn and Suites was more than $200 cheaper. Hoping I don't regret switching.

I stayed at that one in October. It was very nice. Security was very good. You could not get into the hotel from outside without your card. We had the kids' suite. It was a king-size bed and bunk beds for smaller kids. You wouldn't want to put a big teenager on them. Each room had its own tv.

Thank you!! How was the area around the hotel? Was it safe?

We stayed there a few years ago when they were doing a remodel and even though there was construction going on it was still a nice hotel. We also had the kids suite and it was nice. The area the hotel is in is not too bad it is actually the only hotel on that part of the street. The only problem we had was that the fridge in the room keep freezing the milk for my daughter.

We are also staying here for the first time in June, so thank you for your replies.

For parking, some folks on tripadvisor suggested skipping the parking fee and just parking on the street. Would you park a rental car on the street, or just pay the $8.95 a night for secured parking? We'll probably just pay the parking fee at this point, but since I haven't been there I can't visualize the surrounding street.

If anyone's been there recently, how's the breakfast?

TIA :worship:

What rate are you able to get for the Comfort Inn? We often stay at the Holiday Inn Bayside which is about 4 miles from Disneyland and overlooks SD harbor. Selecting the Entertainment card rate on their website gets us $65-$95 depending on when we go. Busier times, weekends, holidays etc. often don't offer this rate. Parking is free.

We stayed there 3 years ago and I thought it was fine for a 2 day stay. We didn't use the pool or anything, just a place to sleep but I felt safe and the staff was nice!
