Come with me on a Journey to a Far away place inhabited by Mythological Gods and Constellations. Through the Portals we go to an Epic Universe.

There is a lot of Harry Potter and Fantastic Beast merchandise here that I have never seen before.

This backpack has some Green fluid in the front of it. I have never seen a backpack like this before.

The inside of the backpack had the tile pattern that is in the Metro-Floo.

I had seen this hard plastic Werewolf hat by the Curse of the Werewolf merchandise cart by the ride. It is pretty scary. I saw a couple of people wearing it.

The Other Worlds Mercantile is full of merchandise from all the Worlds.

There is no way you would not find something you wanted on your way out of park at this store.

The interior of the stores are done so beautifully.

After I was done looking in the shops I continued on and found the beautiful Starbucks.

I decided to go in and have a look around. I did not want to order anything yet as it was lunch time and I would stop by later maybe for a drink.

IMG_4536.jpeg

The mermaid mural was pretty. There was a little bit of a line iniside but not to bad. There is another Starbucks walk up that is closer to the other end of the park.
IMG_4538.jpeg

They do have the Universal Epic Universe Starbucks cup. I was tempted to buy one, but I had limited space in my suitcase so I decided to skip it this time.
IMG_4537.jpeg

I cannot say enough about the beautiful Architectural design that is Celestial Park.

I watched an interview with Adam Revist Executive Producer of Celestial Park. He said “They took design ideas and elements of Architecture inspired by the great World Fairs of the 1880’s and 1940’s and layered that with Celestial designs”.

I looked on the internet for photos of past World Fairs and I could appreciate the design elements that were borrowed for Celestial Park.

Tuesday, May 6th continued

I continued along my way after I left Starbucks and headed to Isle of Berk. I had gone in yesterday evening and had a look around, but I really wanted to explore the area a little more.

You pass by this massive stone after you pass through the portal. I love at the end it says “WE HAVE DRAGONS LOTS OF DRAGONS.

IMG_4843.jpeg

It is so beautiful with the large carving of the Viking and the Dragon at he beginning of the waterway.

Your eyes begin to take in all the various structures and colors. I read that this Portal contains one of the largest worlds.
IMG_4844.jpeg

IMG_4846.jpeg

I walked past this cute animatronic of the little Dragons fighting over a fish. It was cute.
IMG_4847.jpeg

The view of the Viking long boats decorated with the shields on the water and Mead Hall and the tall Dragon houses in the distance are vary picturesque.
IMG_4848.jpeg

IMG_4849.jpeg

This is a walk up restaurant you can order food at.
IMG_4850.jpeg

There is a nice covered large open lodge with open sides all the way around it. It is located right across from the Spit Fyre Grill. It has a lot of seating for you to enjoy your food. It also overlooks the Fyre Drill boast ride on one side.

I stopped and looked at the Snow Wraith. It blows out cold air every few minutes.

There was a nice size line to meet Toothless.

I stopped to watch the interaction for a few minutes and the actors were so good with everyone. It did not seem that this was a rushed interaction with the Toothless the Dragon and the Viking Hiccup.
IMG_4857.jpeg

I stopped into Toothless Treasure Store and bought some things for my little Great-Nephew J.
IMG_4858.jpeg

I bought him a Toothless backpack, a Toothless T-shirt, two of the Dragon Eggs that contain baby hatchlings and small plush Dragon. I had the items shipped to my house.

It is nice that they get your date you will return home so they don’t not sent the items until you are home.

The shipping rates are very reasonable and it is a great way to get some of your purchased items delivered to your door without you having to figure out how to get them home especially if you are flying.

As I walked along I saw The Untrainable Dragon show was going to start in about 10 minutes and I wanted to see the show.

IMG_4859.jpeg

IMG_4860.jpeg

I went in and there were plenty of places to sit.

The show was fantastic. One of the best shows I have ever seen at a theme park. It is a bit of struggle to actually call Epic Universe a theme park because it feels like it is so much more than that.

The only thing that was missing from the show was the fly over by Toothless and Hiccup and I would have never missed it if I had not read that it was part of the show. Really the show was so good it not a big deal to me.

I know sometimes I will give the shows a miss at the parks as I always want to do other things, but don’t miss this show It is fantastic and along with that it is a great way to take a rest and cool off in the airconditioning.

The only issue that was distracting during the show was the fact that there were a few people with their phones out recording the show. There are signs asking you not to do that.

These were adults that had their phones out recording. It is hard not being distracted by the lights on the phone especially if they are in the row in front of you or even three rows in front of you.

Next up more on Isle Berk

There was no fly over when I saw it either. I’m hoping it will be part of the show the next time I go.
I hope you get to see the fly over on your next visit. I’am looking forward to seeing it too.

It would add another dimension to a already incredible show.

The Isle of Berk is detailed. Everywhere you look there is something new and interesting to see.

After watching the show I came out and got back on the main walkway and turned right.

I looked up and saw Dragon tails hanging out of these Dragons houses.
IMG_4861.jpeg

Next up I wanted to have a look in Mead Hall. This is the grand dining chamber carved inside the mountain Rock that serves Norse-inspired food.

It was so fun walking around inside. There were large Tapestry’s of the Vikings and Dragons hung on the walls of the large dining room as well as beautiful wood carved alcoves and Dragon cornices. The massive metal chandelier with dripping candle lights added to the Viking grandeur.
IMG_4871.jpeg

IMG_4872.jpeg

The Tapestry’s were of pivotal characters from How to Train your Dragon Movie.

IMG_4875.jpeg

There is a nice large carved Dragon Chair to sit in for a nice photo op.

Even if you do not plan to have a meal at Mead Hall it is worth going in and having a look around.
