Come One Come All,Maybe 4 trips in 1? WHAT DID WE DO??? 6/29!

DAY 2

So I am sure I will mess this up now considering I had it written when I was feeling creative, and now here I am feeling ashamed for not making sure my work was completely saved before X'ing it out for bed...

So I trudge on................

Day 2 started off with a wake up call that I didn't realize I hit the speakerphone button for. As you may recall I was awake most of the night and had actually been up for a good 40 hours before that. WAKKKKKKKKKEEEEE UPPPPPPPPP GRUMBLE GRUMBLE HEHEHEHEHE arghhhhh dang Stitch...I have such a love hate relationship with that guy. I love his look, hate his annoying little voice. So I roll over and nudge TC who is oblivious to the screeching noise coming out of the phone on MY side of the bed. He asks what time it is and I delightfully (haha yah right) exclaim, 6:15!! :) I knew we needed to shower and get ready then head to the Pepper Market which was a hike and a half from our room. SO we start and are quickly moving out the door taking the GORGEOUS stroll around the property. One we grew to love and admire every single day and realizing we truely had a blessing in disguise being placed in building 6A.

This was the day we were going to find TC's new love.
47b7d932b3127cce870cfaea4bba00000026108BZuWzNu3bC
He would eat this every single day for the rest of the trip. It was the Southwestern Omelette ...yummmmy I grabbed a bite and I must say, if I had the stomach for a big breakfast THIS would be it. I decided just to grab a cup of fruit (which was really sweet and juicy) and an english muffin with jelly. Coffee was an everyday wake me up for both TC and myself ;) After getting breakfast down (and paying OOP) we headed to the Bus Stop # 1. After about 10 minutes our bus pulls up and we get on...the only ones heading to MK on this bus...This would become the norm, us on a bus alone, feeling as if we were being brought privately to the parks ;) Another big plus on CSR being a convention resort! We got the MK around 8:15 and walked to the dead turnstiles where they let us through @ 8:30 to stand at the rope drop below the train station. I spied an elderly couple on ECV's with the bride and groom Mickey/Minnie hats and had the entire area saying AWWW once I pointed them out. I looked at TC and he grabbed my hand as if reassuring me WE would be like that someday....I hope so. They were adrorable!
<ok, going to vent here for a sec>
This is when I got my first disappointment of the trip in people....While standing there I overheard a family say "We can just say we have ADR's and they'll let us through" grabbing the kids by the hand and walked to the CM standing by me. The told her they had 8:45 reservations @ CP and she waved them through. I did everything in my power to not say anything as I was afraid of the kids feelings if a CM said something but I stood there shocked these parents would LIE in front of the kids just to get to Main St--where they'd be stopped by more ropes in the "ride"areas. SAD.
So the rope drops and off we go , slowly wandering down Main St were I step back and start my snapping of castle photos all the while TC mumbling, if you've gotten a photo 10 years ago, 5 years ago, THIS year, why do you need more? I start to explain that the castle changes and I like having them then realize what I am taking a picture of--A CRANE!! A CRANE on the precious castle...The magical item that you first notice when you realize you are in Disney, and there is a BIG CRANE propped next to it. Scarred for life I delete most of the photos and kept 1 pathetic photo to share:

Sigh....So we move onto our journey to TOMORROWLAND...Stopping at the rope for a few moments and then being trampled to the back of the line by people racing to Space and Buzz. We make our way and grab FP's to Space and then head over to Buzz where we would ride it 4 times in a row (I ended up riding either 7 or 8 times that day) laughing hysterically each time as we tried to beat each other's score. TC had never been on BUZZ and he kicked my butt.
47b6ce01b3127cce8db9cae91d5e00000016108BZuWzNu3bC
But not by much as here is mine:
47b6ce01b3127cce8db9c8bf9c3900000016108BZuWzNu3bC

After that we headed towards Fantasy Land to make our way to the Haunted Mansion. This is how quiet it was:
47b7d932b3127cce870cf31e0bd200000026108BZuWzNu3bC

We walked right through the que and were the ONLY ones in the stretching room...and totally alone on the ride. It was eerie. (Hitting save just in case I loose anything here lol)
We are feeling the heat at this point and start walking to Big Thunder but quickly change our minds and get in the line---well actually there wasn't one----for Splash. It was amazing how quiet it was. I forgot to take off my hat and while going down it flew off, but being the quick one I am, I caught it in the air. The people behind me said "AWESOME CATCH" as soon as we got to the bottom as they actually made bets I'd lose it if I didn't remove it! LOL
Once out we make our way around to the new and improved Pirates of the Carribean. I enjoyed the slightly new version and TC said he didn't get what was so "new" about it...He hasn't been on this ride in 6 years so I forgave him. He kept pointing out how much he almost thought Johnney Depp was really there! lol. From here we had a new window to get another FP so we grabbed one to the Jungle Cruise. In all my trips I had never been on and had promised myself I'd try it. We make our way from the back across the park *we did a LOT of back tracking and walking* to Tomorrowland to ride Space Mtn. I got the front seat and TC was right behind...I heard him grunt a few times and he said after he didn't remember it being that "whippy". He thought he had whiplash! LOL

Time for lunch at this point I am telling him what each place has knowing he will end up picking my favorite. PECO'S BILLS IT IS!! He enjoyed this lunch so much and this was his second taste of the Dining Plan. $29.74 that we didn't have to pay for....Felt nice and he said he wants to get it even if we pay for it ...everytime! ;) TC got the double cheeseburger with bacon and I got the chicken wrap...YUMMMY. I loaded up on the toppings bar and had some melted cheese for my fries. mmmmmm We split my Peanut butter brownie thingie and gave the other one to a woman and little girl sitting nearby that didn't have dessert. Her mom was very greatful and we felt good that we didn't trash it. We head over to the Jungle Cruise and had a very funny, but soaked with sweat driver. He was so soaked that people were backing up as he was dripping and it was pretty icky! I felt bad for him but his energy level didn't at all suffer. He was a ton of fun!

TC asks if I want to stick around or head out and I tell him I want to go get a drink at the Poly and show him a few resorts. We jump on the Train and took it to the front of the park, which TC enjoyed.
He mentioned so many times that "Disney has thought of everything" We leave the park and hop on the monorail . Once there we stroll around and comment on how dead the resorts are also---love this time of year!
47b6ce01b3127cce8db9cbf2dced00000016108BZuWzNu3bC

We are still really full from lunch and walking is miserable to we go to the marina and rent a sea raycer to go out on the lagoon with. This was a ton of fun and we couldn't bring the camera for pics, but our raycer must have been broken b/c people were FLYING by us in the same boats and we were going full speed...It was pathetic! We laughed quite a bit and TC got to ooooh and ahhhh at the Wilderness Lodge and Grand Floridian from the water. At this point the sky is growing dark so we head back to the marina to go get a drink at the poolside bar praying the rain holds out. At the marina they ask how our time out there was and when TC just says "Our boat seemed slower then all the others" she took $20 off the price of the rental...WOOHOOO drink $$ and PIXIE DUST!!! :)

We get our drinks in Souveniour glasses and start to walk and tour the property when the sky opens up...BUCKETS...It is pouring pretty bad and we look at each other, shrug our shoulders and step out from under the cave waterfall by the pool into the rain. It felt really good on our skin as we were pretty heated up from the sun on the boat. We had a ton of fun drinking our now partially watered down drinks walking in the rain. Once we finished those we went to the monoral and it was pulling away............

Brilliant me decided to suggest heading to the bus stop downstairs and going to Downtown Disney. In the rain ;) TC agrees and we make our way back through the top level of the Poly, down the stairs, out the front door and across the walkway to the bus stop to sit...and wait....and wait.....and finally after 20 minutes the DTD bus pulls up. We board and were the only ones on it which is always a bonus. Once at the Marketplace entrance we head into the Disney Day's of Christmas store. One of my favorite stores in ALL of WDW. I made note to return later in the week so I can stock up on new ornaments and grab a few for family. We start to head out of the store after a few minutes (well almost 30 since I love it there) and we can't get out. People were blocking the doors with strollers and bags and what not as it is pouring and everyone is seeking shelter . Finally the rain started to let up a bit so we pushed our way to the front and walked across to Goofy's Candy Company. TC wanted a double shot espresso and I wanted a caramel iced coffee. TC was ooh and ahhing over the selections here and wanted to watch as some items were made for customers. Wandering from there we headed into Disney Tails and I picked up a few Mickey head shaped toys for my dogs. I own 2 Boxers and they LOVE a good game of tug-o-war with a new toy...What better then Mickey? :) I grabbed a Bandana for my not so playful English Bulldog and a box of treats for my parents Boxer. Feeling satisfied for thinking of the dogs TC says "Is this where they have all those LEGOS???" I smile and drag him across the Marketplace and his eyes almost fell out of his head! He was amazed at the water dragon, the lego people, the transformer looking guy....He couldn't get over it. TC loves LEGOS but has never seen anything like that. He now said he wants to start building life sized things out of legos...great. lol

At this point it is about 3 pm and our dinner ADR @ Tony's isn't until 6:05 so we head through over to Pleasure Island. I couldn't believe how much of an eye sore the construction going on was, so muc so I decided against photos. Didn't start off as a good impression at first for TC but once we rounded the bend and came over the bridge near Planet Hollywood he saw what it had in store. We made our way down to the Virgin Megastore and browsed for a bit. It felt good as the heat and humidity outside was making us miserable and sticky. I decide to pick up the Cheetah Girls 2 CD for Ashley and look around at some books upstairs while TC "tests out" some video games. We start to get bored and I ask him if he wants to head towards the Grand Floridian to check it out. He points out that since he has never seen ANYTHING here and I have that I should just do and not ask. Hmmm--NICE :)

Out we go and to the bus stop to wait for the Grand Floridian bus...that seemed to never show up. There was another family there that were getting impatient so when we saw the Poly bus I suggested we all grab it and then take the monorail over to the Grand Floridian. They were relived as the kids were miserable. We all were at that point ....
Small rant hereBoarding the monorail I almost got into a fight with a woman who lit up a cigarette on the platform . I told her that it was NONSMOKING there and she told me, TOO bad, I am smoking a few puffs and I should move if I didn't like it. The CM standing nearby heard what was going on and scolded her. There was a sign saying no smoking----and she was LEANING on it. Not to get into the fact she was smoking as that doesn't bother me, but that is all about ignorance.
Once on the monorail she mombled and complained to the man with her who kept shushing her as he was getting embarrassed..

Once at the Grand Floridian we take a stroll around the property to the boat dock to sit and wait for a boat to the MK.....Well we see nothing at all going on
47b6ce01b3127cce8db9d9c65de000000016108BZuWzNu3bC

47b7d932b3127cce870d3f8a2b6c00000026108BZuWzNu3bC

...and realize that there wasn't one that was going to come at all...BUMMER because here comes the rain--AGAIN. Pretending not to mind we walk back to the main building to the monorail. At this point I wish we had time to go shower and freshen up before our ressies, but alas we wasted that time and it was 4:35. We got off the monorail and glanced over to the boat dock--ROPED OFF. No boat to the GF. sigh. Live and Learn ;)

Back into MK we head to Buzz and I attempt to kick TC's butt..HAHA nope, still not going to happen. We wander from there over to Liberty Square in and out of shops like Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe (notice I like XMAS decorations???) and check out some portraits being done in the Portrait Gallery. At this point I wonder if we can get in early for our ADR as I'm getting Rumbly in my Tummy as Pooh would say. The mob scene @ Tony's took my slightly aback. People were arguing with the CM's. One conversation went something like this:

Anygry woman: I had 5:10 ADR's and checked in 15 minutes early, but you have taken "walk-in's" before me"
CM: I aplogize ma'am but we haven't taken any of the walk-in's yet. They were told 45 min to an hour.
Angry woman: Yes you did! I remember exactly who has been called and they came in after and was put on the waiting list. I made ADR's 180 days ago!!!!! How dare you!
CM:*loudly* No ma'am, these are who have been called. "The XXX Family, 5pm ADR, The XXXX Family 5pm ADR, etc......he pulled out the cards as proof. He apologized and said they were running behind. At this point the woman sat down and they called her within 3 or 4 minutes. I felt bad, as they were taking walk-ins (with a wait) and ADR's were falling way behind.

I checked in at 5:50 (15 minutes early) and go to wait outside
47b6ce01b3127cce8db9c1f85dd200000016108BZuWzNu3bC
and we were called shortly after 6. We were taken to our table which was decorated for my birthday
47b6ce01b3127cce8db9c6bc9c3d00000016108BZuWzNu3bC
and then the restaurant swirled their napkins when a CM had me stand up and he announced my 26th birthday .(sorry dark photo)
47b6ce01b3127cce8db9c5dddcc500000016108BZuWzNu3bC

I didn't take food photos here. I got the Spinach Artichoke dip (which I really liked) and TC got the Soup of the Day...I think it was a chicken Tortellini, which he said he enjoyed but didn't LOVE. For our meals I got Chicken Fiorentina. I didn't like this AT all. It was sort of a Chicken Cordon Bleau which I normally like, but this dish didn't do it for me. TC got the NY strip steak and it was very good. He really liked his potatoes. I liked the red wine gorgonzola butter it came with. (My mouth is watering right now! LOL). Noticing the calamari appetizer passing our table every 2 minutes started to kill me as I had wanted to get that for an app, and he was afraid, but then he became disappointed that he isn't more bold in his choices. Rounding out our dinner was the dessert sampler that we shared. It has cheesecake, Tiramisu and a cannoli. This is what is served on the DDP. I really liked this dessert. I am a HUGE fan of Tiramisu. We could barely share it as we fought over it lol. Total here would have been $92.05. We had a great server so we left a $10 tip ontop of what she received on the plan. During our dessert a little girl behind TC took a liking to him and started playing peek-a-boo with him. Her mom asked her to turn around and apologized and TC egged her on...He is so BAD! I kept telling him to stop but they just kept laughing. The mom got up to apologize directly to us and noticed my streamers (they had just gotten there) and asked if it was our anniversary or honeymoon. TC said "Nope her birthday" . SHe had her daughter sing Happy Birthday to me and it was adorable! We got up and left a few moments later but that made my night.

We decided to head to Big Thunder Mtn where my stomach was starting to turn as we boarded the ride. Frightened I may be sick I focused on taking photos and chatting with TC.
47b7d932b3127cce870d4b882b5400000026108BZuWzNu3bC
.
Once off I felt a little bit better so we headed over to Adventureland and walked up the Swiss Family Treehouse. TC was expecting something exciting, but instead I made him and his full belly walk ap a million stairs and back down again ...He almost looks happy about this in the pics:
47b6ce01b3127cce8db9dc441df800000016108BZuWzNu3bC
NOT ;) At this point we head down to see Wishes and stop for a small photo op (dark):
47b6ce01b3127cce8db9e8ac1d0a00000016108BZuWzNu3bC

From there we make way to Main St for Wishes and stake out a spot in the dead center of the street. Other people gathered right behind us and it started filling up very quickly.
Directly in front of us the CM's started moving people along (YAY! no people up against us) and told them to get behind us or WAY ahead of us as there needed to be a pathway right where we stood. Hoola Hoop games were going on with some kids and CM's and it was great to watch them get so involved. Announcements start and people settle down a bit. And then it begins ....ahhhhh Still my favorite.
47b6ce01b3127cce8db9eedc9c4900000016108BZuWzNu3bC
This shot makes it all worth hanging around for the fireworks.

From here we fear the worst with the lines at the bus stop and contemplate hanging out for a bit till the crowds clear. We are feeling fairly tired as it was a long second day and I still hadn't gotten much sleep so we headed out. There was maybe 8 people in front of us when we arrived at our bus que. The bus pulled up less then 5 minutes later and we got off @ bus stop #1 so I could get water @ Panchito's Gifts. Walking along we saw I am guessing Illuminations across the way from our resort. We watch for a few moments and head to the Dig Site to see what time the pool bar closes.....7...dang.

So we make our way past the 22 person hot tub where it was packed to capacity again tonight. We saw this very often as after a day in a convention I'd want to hang there also! I take in the air and just realize that I spent my birthday in the best place in all of the USA (IMO) and realize life is good. TC must have been thinking the same thing because he grabbed my hand and smiled. I called the kids and chatted about the day and said my goodnights just as we got back to the room. A nice long hot shower was in order and it felt good to climb into bed with nothing but happy dreams of what was still to come.

Let me just say that those nasty bug YUK!!!! The pictures are great and I am so happy that you both got away without kids, I understand what it is like to have no time for yourself and your partner. Can't wait until for more.:goodvibes

Hey Poohbear! THose bugs really were NASTY! Its pretty pathetic when you get used to them...I am just hoping we miss them this year.
Getting away without the kids to WDW was wonderful but I won't ever do it again...at least not until they are out of the house and grown. :)

When we were there at ASsp & AKL in 06 they weren't to bad but we came in at the begining of the month of Sept. Hopefully they won't be so bad this year.

Well I just turned 40 this year and have no kids so we DBF are going back again with no kids, my son who is 21 and my former step daughter is 16 now wow am I getting old.:scared1:

Three reports in one; it's like being in trip heavan. ;)

AWW thanks! Hopefully I can do my trips a tad bit of justice. They have been wonderful and with the help of TGM and the DIS I hope to continue my lucky streak with easy park days and pack as much in as humanly possible!

Onto Day 3!

Day 3 wasn't overly exciting but we'll see if I can do it some justice. Wait I take that back...One of the funniest moments of the trip happened on Day3.

So TC and I make a plan to wake up early , get breakfast @ Maya Grill and then head to MGM for opening. I roll over @ 6:15 and TC isn't there. Hmmm, Wonder where he could have gone. I get up and shower and get dressed. I call home to the kids and get all the updates on school and what they have been doing. Here it is Day 3 and I feel like I have been away from them for a month . Seems that Ashley and Trae have gotten quite a bit of fun and freedom the last 2 days, which included staying up an hour past bedtime on school nights, hot fudge sundaes for desserts and a few other things they know wouldn't slide if we were home. I'ts ok though because they get some sort of "break" while we are on vacation right? :)

At 7:05 the door opens and TC comes in, pretty sweaty and yucky. He had been at the fitness center since opening and was ready to shower and start the day. I rushed him along and we headed out making it to Maya Grille by 7:30. The food here for breakfast buffet IMO was so-so. I kinda picked and wasn't hungry enough to like it I guess...TC seemed pretty satisfied but then again, breakfast is his meal of choice. I felt very underdressed sitting in Maya Grill as everyone there was a conventioner that morning, dressed for success. Becuase of this meal we decided that later in the week we would skip 1900 PF (though I LOVE it there) since I wasn't into really eating much mornings and just use our TS credit here since we had originally planned it as out of pocket.

We headed to the bus and it arrived quickly. There was 1 other couple that had boarded at a stop before us so the bus wasn't totally empty this morning, but close enough to relax and be able to chat freely. We arrived @ MGM just after 8:30 and were let through the turnstiles within a few minutes. Made our way down Hollywood Blvd, staying very close to the right so we could get to RnR and ToT. We watched the little preshow they put on for opening ceremony and as with everything Disney, it just gets me pumped for what is to come. I start worrying about TC. He ate a BIG breakfast and hates rollercoasters. He gets sick on them and I contemplated backing out for him. He assured me he would be ok, and if that is what I wanted to do, then that is what we'd do ;) Awww, sweet guy. So the rope drops and we follow the CM's closely over to RnR where I was going to grab a FP, TC isn't allowing me to get many of those this trip since the lines were so short. We got right in and were the FIRST car ride of the day---headed to the AEROSMITH concert! WOOOHOOOO!! TC watched all the test run cars screech out of sight and I saw the nervousness in his eyes. I once again offered to back out but he said "No, I want to go on now!". Who am I to argue? So we load on, take off our sunglasses and hold on for dear life.....5......4......3.....2......1111111111111111RRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!!! And through the loops and turns my mind was focused on him...I kept thinking, oh man I barely ate and my tummy is feeling woozy...VERY unlike me. After what seemed like eternity we stop and pull into the que to unload and I am afraid to look his way...I do slowly and I see......a SMILE! He said while rides still aren't "amusing" to him, he didn't mind that too much. It was easy. PHEW...maybe another ride? No dice. Ah well. We head out to see our photo and the nicest lil CM tells us how to pose next time and chats with us about what he knows about Massachusetts. Great guy.

We make our way out and I ask TC if he is ready for ToT. Sure, why not. So we walk right in and head through the library, watch the creepy movie and TC being the goof he is starts making noises to freak people out. DORK. ;) We head into the loading area and are seated in the bottom left row (I think they call it row 2) and we wait for the bellhop to wish us a safe trip through the twilight zone. Up and away we go, ascending then moving through the hotel. We watched as the "premise" of the ride was playing out in front of us. And then the big moment----TC SMILE for the picture!!!! And a drop, then back up---wow look at that view, my favorite part, WOPPPPS another drop, yay back up---so nice outside today DROP....this went on about 5 or 6 times and then it was over, all too quick. TC looked unscathed so I asked if we could ride again..."NO". NO?!. Just like that."NO". (I'll change his mind!)

Off ToT we headed across the park and saw the Power Rangers..My 6 year old's favorite the black/white one and TC quickly got in line to pose LMAO :
47b6ce01b3127cce8db9f4361d9e00000016108BZuWzNu3bC
and we headed towards the backlot tour.

I had never seen this and we were the first to get into line for the next show. The CM come around asking if anyone wants to be in the show. By this point 2 other families had shown and there were 3 volunteers, but they needed 4. So TC went to turn to me praying not to get asked and the CM said "Yes, you sir, come on! It'll be FUUUUN"...TC agreed and they led him away and asked me to follow the front row down and stand dead center. TC is on the far right:
47b6ce01b3127cce8db9e0cc1d6e00000016108BZuWzNu3bC

Is what I see and I can't help but laugh. He is so shy that this is going to be entertaining. So they start the show and announce that TC is going to have 10,000 gallons of water dumped on him --here he is being nervous :
47b6ce01b3127cce8db9f4861d2e00000016108BZuWzNu3bC

and then his acting skills :
47b6ce01b3127cce8db9fad11d7e00000016108BZuWzNu3bC

I got a really good laugh and he came off nice and wet.

From there they took us on the actual backlot tour and we enjoyed that. I liked the special effects used when you arrive at the tanker :
47b6ce01b3127cce8db9f4461dee00000016108BZuWzNu3bC
The video I took does it more justice.

Once we finished the tour we headed out of the park and decide to get our suits on and go to Blizzard Beach. When we arrived we headed right for Summit Plummit but I chickened out and went for Slush Gusher..That was bad enough, not out of fear but for some reason I almost choke half to death each time and my bathing suit becoming a permenant resident of my behind isn't fun IMO. TC enjoys it and we go do some of the slides (storm slides were first I believe). Then from there I wanted to hang out in the river, so we found a spot to get into the creek and relaxed for a bit. We were done with this park within 2 hours and there wan't anything really spectacular to mention so let me head back to the resort now for lunch. That is always a good topic...MMMMMM More chicken Fajitas...love them! And I love the PM. We leave there and head to the room for a shower and nap...the nap wasn't working and it was about 3:30 and I know AK has EMH so I told TC we should head that way to see if we can knock out some rides. The park was NUTSO. We got our wristbands and wandered towards Dinosaur. I really like this ride even though it beats the crud out of me everytime. It is exciting. TC enjoyed it and our photo came out pretty funny...We both almost looked scared HAHA. We came out and headed to EE and it was broken down and the lines outside were crazy so we kept on walking. The parade was making it's way through the streets so we were detoured but I got some good pics anyway:
47b6ce01b3127cce8db901965ddc00000016108BZuWzNu3bC

and we decided we just weren't feeling EMH here today...That was the joy of not having kids with us...bouncing around a lot and doing what we wanted--HOW we wanted. Felt good. Ahhh pretty birds, I'll see you all Saturday on my planned AK day
47b6ce01b3127cce8db90defdc9300000016108BZuWzNu3bC

From there we took the bus to Port Orleans Riverside so I can show TC the resort a bit since I stayed there in February and loved it. He thought it looked peaceful and said he'd like to stay there someday.

We jumped on the boat to DTD
47b6ce01b3127cce8db90db9dcc500000016108BZuWzNu3bC

spur of the moment to go browse and waste the rest of the afternoon.
47b6ce01b3127cce8db906589cb900000016108BZuWzNu3bC

I told TC he would probably like Wolfgang Express so we headed directly there. We both got the Rosemary Half a chicken and it was pretty good. I liked my mashed potatoes . We got a cookie and a brownie and we split them. From there we walked over the Pleasure Island where we figured we'd spend the evening. First up was Disney Quest. We stayed there about 1.5 hours but it got old pretty quick. I actually posted a message in this thread from there just with a quick update that night. DQ was empty and we just did what we wanted. Walking back around towards the Adventure Club (where we planned to go) we saw these guys: (DARK ugh)
47b6ce01b3127cce8db919185d5e00000016108BZuWzNu3bC

and they were posing for pics getting into some compromising positions. As we head towards the clubs TC starts getting moody and as I direct him one we he walks another. I don't say much at this point but when I get up to him he says "So I thought we'd head back to the resort and swim, sound good"? UMMMMMM WHAT???? We had PLANS!!! Trying to relax I said "ok, whatever" and we started walking. I must have been showing my attitude b/c he started on my case..I told him we had plans and he said he just gave a suggestion, I shouldn't have agreed if I cared..He then says "Michelle, this is YOUR vacation, do what you want:". ARGH... So I attempted to leave him where he was and I headed for the bus---he caught up, DANG. LMAO We board the bus after what felt like an eternity and remained silent. WOW, first argument of the trip. Good record though ;)

We get off the bus and as we are waling we both start laughing and realize we are stress free, no reason to be mad this week and who cares what we do. So we pose for some pics together :

Don't laugh, I'm a geek, I propped the camera on a trash barrel for the photos! HAHA. By the time we got to our room we were laughing and joking and we decided a swim was an excellent idea...until we got over there----it was mobbed!! 9pm on a Wednesday night and it was crazy. The hot tub was full to capacity and the pool was over run with children. We head to the quiet pool and there was a handful of people there. The air wasn't warm enough for me to want to swim now at this point so we gave up on the idea and went to the room for bed. The following day was an Epcot day, so I wanted to be up early.

WOW, I got one day done in 1 sitting!!! I will work on Day 4 later, though it wasn't very eventful since we had done Epcot already and planned a few MORE days there later that week.
:)

THE NOW:

Be back in a bit to see what I have to post from Day 4.

Great TR so far!! We will be there early sept. -- i hope its as dead as when you were there!! What a blessing!

I have faith it will be for you. September was a REALLLY dead time--even with Free Dining..the most crowds I saw happened when Food and Wine Festival started up and that was just crowds around WS. I am sure it'll be busier for me this year with the end of August, but still better then mid summer :) Have a great trip! :dance3:

THE THEN:

DAY 4:

We awake this morning around 7:15, this was our latest rise so far and I figure since we had already done Epcot we could take it slow. Who was I fooling? I am in Disney and I take nothing slow! :) We shower and dress and make our way through the resort to the Pepper Market as usual and TC has his famous Ommelette and I have a bagel and some fresh strawberries. Both armed with coffee we make our way to the bus stop and wait. We waited about 15 minutes this morning and got to the park before opening. Once the park opened for the day we knew we had done so much here already so we headed to Innoventions to play around and we stopped to watch a segway tour group in training. It was pretty cool and I started to wish I had listened to TC when he told me to book it. *what does he know?* haha. From there we headed to Figment and got a laugh out of this ride. I had only been on once before and I think it's adorable. We came out and played around making silly pictures on the machines. Here is one of TC:

And one of both of us (kinda embarassing) that we sent to the kids:

We come out and head to the Living Seas to watch a presentation on dolphins and whether or not they can distinguish the difference between different shapes. It was pretty interesting and dolphins are such amazing creatures. I adore them. I tell TC about Turtle Talk with Crush and he decides he'd wait in the line that had formed to see it. After about 35 minutes we got in and had a hilarious show. The kids were consumed by the fact that Crush was talking back directly to them and the parents were in awe watching. Brought me back to when I was there with Trae (my then 5 year old) and my niece. They were in a giggle fit for the rest of the day because Crush had told them to call everyone DUDE for the rest of the day no matter how many times they were asked to stop. Quite annoying but cute at the same time ;)

THE NOW:
Back to computer issues..I can't seem to load the photos for the rest of this portion of the trip---after a shut down and break I'll be back ;)

I love all the pictures in your reports! I wish I could go with you! It looks like you had a blast!

It just took me 2 hours to read 4 pages. I really enjoyed your 3 trips into one.
Me and my dh took a couples only trip this past April. We really had a good time. Glad you had a good time too. My husband is the same way, "he kept telling me, this was my vacation and he would do what I wanted."

The more the merrier! :) We really do/did have a blast. I try and make the best out of it, because who knows when I'll get back..

Now to just find a way to finish this report so I can get on to the *NEW* stuff ;)

WOWZA! 2 hours for my trippie!

I think a couples only trip is a must experience...if even just once. I enjoyed every second of it as I am sure you did with yours. I love how WDW makes the men so sweet too..."Aw, honey do/see/experience WDW how you want"...sigh if it was always like that ;)

Last night I had a HUGE finish to Day 4 written and I had tons of photos and what do yah know? My AOL crashes! ARGH...It is about time I get a new computer (wish it was that easy with paying for this trip and back to school clothes etc) and get a new ISP. From now on I am writing it FULLY in a word pad (like I used to do) and then pasting it here.
Sigh...just another life lesson. ;)

The THEN:

So heres a pic of the dolphins that I mentioned in my last post:
47b7d932b3127cce870c4e404b4a00000026108BZuWzNu3bC

After leaving the dolphins (it was getting extremely crowded in there) we headed to grab a FP for Soarin then made our way to TT that only had a 10 minute wait (I think everyone was watching the dolphins!). I feel like a crook at this point because I got a very boring photo of us from TT but it was with my own camera. I saw many people walking about to the screen and snapping a pic of their ride photo, so I decided I'd do the same. This one I won't post but another I will.

From there we headed to Club Cool and had some soda and just enjoyed the feeling of getting out of the sun. It was as always very refreshing and perked me up (amped me with caffiene!) enough to trudge on. We then made our way slowly over to the Land and used our Soarin FP. Classic love. I think of this ride often and could do it over and over and over.

By this point we decide we should go get an early lunch back @ the Pepper Market so we'd be hungry for our ADR that night @ Sci-Fi. After waiting @ Epcot for 25 minutes for a bus we make it back around 11:45 and head in stopping to check out the specials. The Pasta Primavera catches my eye:
47b6ce23b3127cce8d3d3afc3c5c00000016108BZuWzNu3bC

and the $20 rib eye steak catches DH's

Bellies full, TC decides he needs a nap and we start the long stroll to our room. We stopped off at the hammocks for a bit where TC dozed for 10 minutes:
47b7d932b3127cce870b578eeaf500000026108BZuWzNu3bC

And I snapped photos of bunnies and butterflies:

47b6ce23b3127cce8d3d184cbdcd00000016108BZuWzNu3bC

I also decided to see what the excitement was over these hammocks by the lake:
47b6ce23b3127cce8d3d1de17cca00000016108BZuWzNu3bC

ahhh peaceful, but I have some notes to write in the room. So we head back and I do my notes and shower while TC naps.
I awake him 45 minutes later and we head out to the Studios. We wandered through the shops stopping at a hilarious street show that I wish I got pics of. It was a *dating* show and the actresses were awesome. The 3 women the man from the audience had to choose between without seeing them were a butch plumber lady, a geek, and a vixen. It was great.
From there we headed to RnR where a CM told TC how and when to pose "ROCKSTAR" style for his photo. It was hilarious and we purchased it, which I'll find and scan in later.
From there we of course headed to ToT where TC thought he was slick and would do a funny photo. He turned to me and told me during a drop sequence that he just made the awesomest face and then we dropped again. Once out we went to look at his pic and this is what I see .We are the middle left row to the far side:
47b7d932b3127cce870b49646b2000000026108BZuWzNu3bC

YUP< thats right--the photo was taken WHEN he was telling me all about his "COOL" photo that was taken. Ummm ok buddy. lol

It was now nearing our ADR time @ Sci-Fi and I had been talking this place to the sky. I had loved it so much during my last trip that I was sure TC would feel the same. Well this photo should say it all:
47b7d935b3127cce87300b1140a200000026108BZuWzNu3bC

We didn't like ANY of our food, the waitress was very unattentive, and we were "backseat" to a family that was pretty loud and crazy. We felt like intruders! LOL

At this point we were pretty tired and debated whether we should stick around for F! but declined and headed out.

It was a peaceful night and we headed into Pacnhitos Gifts for bottled water and snacks before taking the nice relaxing walk back to the room.

THE NOW:

What I wrote last night had much more detail and I can't seem to remember what else happened at this point, but can always add to it later. Happy Saturday ALL!!!!!

Am SO enjoying your TR!! You and TC are very cute together and you both have beautiful children.
Why is it that there always has to be one person who doesn't follow the rules because they are "above" them??? I think that you showed great restraint with the woman smoking!! Afraid I would not have been so nice!!! I smoke, but there are more than enough areas for us smokers!!
There is something in the water or something at WDW that causes couples to have a meltdown at least once! But like you did, you realize that it is just stress and then the meltdown is over!!!!!
Looking forward to your next installment!!!!

THANKS! I am not at all against smoking and I hope I conveyed that in my post..but when you are standing on the deck waiting for the monorail in the heat and someone ignores the signs and rules it is pretty aggitating.

The meltdown was almost needed. We ended up having the BEST time from then on in.

Next installment will hopefully be finished and posted this evening. :goodvibes
