Come One, Come All. An Engagement & rain...lots of rainWith photos and videos

Has anyone noticed my ticker(s)??? Plus a wedding date is pretty much set---for 8/22/09, TC's cousin has a great lake house down in Cape Cod and 4 acres of land to have a nice wedding :)--the day before we leave on our August Deluxe Dining Trip----Kids on our honeymoon...:) So the next year should be interesting.
That's sounds terrific!! Honeymoon at WDW!!

Hi Michelle,
I love red neck photos, and darn that is about the best one I have seen.
So you are going to go in Jan.? We might also, but late Dec. early Jan. for DS birthday. I feel like the holidays are going to be crappy with my mom not here. Keeps it coming!

Michelle, great update and congrats on the wedding date and the Disneymoon! Sounds wonderful! :goodvibes

I loved the face painting pictures! They did a great job. I don't think they had that the last time I went. Now if it is pouring the rain, I think i will pass by it again but I am hopeful that there will be some golden rays making their way into my trip too.

I love that the kids are a part of the honeymoon trip!!

Hey Michelle! Sorry Kayla had a breakdown at the end. But look at it this way: at least she didnt freak out in the middle when the rest of the kids do!
I really like the shot of you all with the 3D glasses on. Everytime I try to get that shot, the doors open and I get pushed in by the herd! IfI get one this time, I'll post it here!

I really like eating at Sci-Fi, but more for the atmosphere than the food. I hope they up their game soon, so it can be an AWESOME dinning experience!

Again, congrats on your proposal! I'm still getting everything together on my list for your wedding . . . :rolleyes1

1. Call the Bridezillas Show.
2. Order Dyeable Shoes
3. Order inappropriate skanky low-cut brides maid dress
4. Make hotel reservation
5. Order hair piece
6. Go to liquor store so I'll be *slightly* tipsy while meeting family/friends
7. Order Gold Tooth and snap on my front left tooth.
8. Get mani/pedi that does NOT match my skanky dress.
9. Practice saying, "So WHAT it's YOUR day, you know how far I've traveled?!
10. Foward bill for my hotel, tooth, dress, and mani/pedi to YOU!!!!

BWAHHHH seriously I love your list!! It is going to be a BUSY 2009 for us but I can't wait...

I agree about Sci-Fi, we enjoy the atmosphere and had a great server but the food hasn't wowed me. It isn't BAD and I think it's edible but I want better...for my dining choice ;)

I am still so sorry about your mom. Maybe being in WDW at that time of year will help. Being home might be a constant reminder :(

I am going to attempt to write more before work today :)

We are going January 19-23...just a Monday through Friday trip, but that is perfect for us ;) My best friend is 90% sure she wants to go along with us. Her mom passed away a few years ago and there is nothing we wish more then to have her with us--but since we can't we'll definitely take a trip to honor her. She liked Disney and all things fun.

I actually told TC I was going to cancel Disney for next year since I feel I make us go too often and maybe the kids would like a change...He told me NO. LOL..He said Trae would rather swim, so he'll spend more time at the resort swimming with him while Ash and myself hit the parks. That would be ideal since I feel so bad when they wait off for us :(
sounds like a fun trip, i wish i was going back again that soon...but i get to go at christmas so that is good.

Just secured my flights so there is no turning back. We changed the dates by a week though---Jan 26-30 now.

I am jealous you get to go at Xmas...I'd LOVE to see WDW around that time, but I can't get down there since I work retail...:(

we are excited, but this will prob. be the only time we will go at christmas since we just got a camper, will be going most of the time, in october, when there is no crowds at all...but the good news is, that we will be going for 2 weeks when we do go.

2 weeks! That is awesome ;) I always get the feeling at the end that though I did most everything I wanted , there still wasn't enough days...I would work more *chill out* time into 2 weeks.

Ok so I am posting something that is a partial No No right now...I should be posting about this past trip but I wanted to post that we are fully booked to go January 26-30 just My mom, myself and Melissa. We are staying @ CSR and the only room they'd give us is business level---but it includes breakfast, snacks, cheese and wine (wine at a price) and turndown service. The rooms also have DVD players and robes...I didn't know this was an option and it was only $125 more total (the online reservation system said I couldn't book standard for 3 adults).

We also secured flights so we'll arrive around 12:00 in Orlando, be @ CSR before 1 and then head to Epcot...Where as my customary first night dining is held @ Le Cellier (which I got my time no problem)

Tuesday we will hit AK in the AM and then DHS in the afternoon with dinner @ 50's Primetime for 5 again.

Wednesday MK is planned and we'll head out for the Poly for drinks mid afternoon and dinner @ 'Ohana at 6:30 with just enough time to head back to MK for 8pm Wishes

Thursday is an anything day with dinner that evening @ Tutto Italia (if they do the DDP, I'll have to keep watching) and a surprise evening ending @ 9pm @ Cirque for my mom for her birthday (which is the following week).

Friday we don't depart CSR until 4:45 for a 7:50 flight so we'll hit DTD and shop and get some treats @ Goofy's and just take it easy shopping.

So a quick week, but I think it's a solid plan ;)

I didn't upload ~M~'s pics last night so I am doing it at work today so with tomorrow off I should get a GOOD chunk if pics posted her from the first 2 days that I didn't have and then continue onto day 3 ;)

Still thinking of all the Disers in the path of these storms. I see Hanna is on her way this way now...Then Ike will be right behind...This is a rough season and I hope everyone stays safe and sound through it all.

They're working on those rooms now ! I just read about them this week !
They have either a king or two queen beds instead of the usual two doubles, and a desk instead of a table and chairs. CSR is catering more to the convention crowd. Really cool that you got one, :cool1: you'll have to tell us how you like it. I'm thinking I'll book one next trip maybe surprise DH with the extras.

thta is what we usually did growing up, 1 day for the parks, then next day off, then next day park, day off, water park day off, you get hte drift...it was great, got to see so much more of disney that people miss.

congrats onthe business room, i wish i had a conference in disney to use that place. oh wait i am staying there this christmas, just not a business room.

:thumbsup2

So, I found some recent pics on a cd I have from my other computer. More to come but for now...This was for Melissa's birthday. We stayed at a hotel near Foxwoods Casino in CT and it was a blast.

I just found your tr, can't wait to finish reading it. I live near foxwoods too, we were just there in July.

Wow you got it all figured out already.;) Plan for me!
Did you get a good price on flights? I looked and I am so shock at the ticket prices. Jet blue so far is the cheapest, but we would have to drive to Jersey. I like leaving first thing in the morning and coming home late at night. I dont want to drive in Jan. that is for sure.

Just found your tr and I'm all caught up. Congrats on the engagement! You and Melissa both have beautiful families. Looking forward to more! :)

I will definitely be reporting about it when I get back...I have heard that those level rooms should be done (at least the first phase) around January...PERFECT timing!
