COME ONE, COME ALL, THE START OF SOMETHING NEW!!!

I had a running report that was going to be 4 trips in 1, but it fizzled after report # 3...Could have something to do with not finishing. But I contest! I will be a loyal Diser and keep this one going. I have an excuse for the last---my new laptop doesnt have the pictures and info stored for the trips, So I didn't have much to say anymore. If anyone wants to read up on my last 3 trips---you are more then welcome, link is below with bunches of photos. I decided to end my report at page 40, with just 40 days to go...Coincidence? I think not.

So this will be the report that tests relationships and friendships. I will get to that in a bit. For now let me introduce the 8 hopefuls that will be heading to Disney World in just 40 days!

ME!!! Some of you know me. I have been around since 2005. I visited many reports (Cher, DisneyDad, GMax, Faunteleroy, and many more *stop sulking if I didn't mention you or spelled your name wrong! many more should cover it*) I am 27 and have been to the world 8-9 times in my life. 6 being since 2001 and counts this trip.

REALLY old picture, my hair is currently black and long---it looks good tho!

Then there is DFiance. 27 and not a HUGE fan of Disney. But this trip was his idea and his eyes do well up when he looks at pics from past trips. This is his 4th trip.

Ashley: will be 12 by the time we go. She is my test in life. Will I make it into heaven? Sure will now! HAHA She has lived with me since she was 10 months and I am basically the only mom she knows. I am sure that will come up at some point so I had to point it out.

Trae: my 8 year old superboy. He is a BIG reader and loves to write and imagine the craziest things. Afraid of rollercoasters but wants to do EE this trip since his best friend is coming with us.

Melissa: My best friend since we were 7. This is our FIRST ever vacation together.

Jalen: 8 and my sons best friend and Melissas lil man. He seems to think he is more like 15 then 8. He is very independent and it shows.

Can't find many pics of just him...they are all him in the background--so I'll get some to post

Kayla: THE PRINCESS of the trip. She wants to know why the princess cant come to her house if she can go to theirs. She is 3 and loves all things girlie. Makeup, polish, fake hair, high heels...she is such a ham and she knows how beautiful she is. CAN'T WAIT to see her at the castle!
Though this pic is 3 years old, she is just as angelic now as she was then. I'll get recent pics from her mom (who I'll call ~M~ from now on) and post later

The start of something.....NEW

So fo rthe last few trips I have been trying to talk my best friend in coming along with her kids. She debated that Kayla was too young and that it would be crazy to spend $$ she didn't have until she was older. I agree, and wish Kayla was just 1/4 inch taller for this trip---she wants to do "big rides".

So finally when TC mentioned this trip (after me SWEARING I was done --right G??) I sprung the idea on her. She said she had some extra cash this year and things were much better off so we booked. First I booked with Disney directly, but cancelled and booked us all through AAA for some savings. Makes me very nervous handing over control (since we didn't even have a CHANCE when the room codes came out b/c our agent seems careless.) and afraid our ADR's wouldnt be right.

We are now 40 days out and we are shopping like crazy and trying to get things in order. She has already made her mousekeeping envelopes (I have not) . She has already done quater, quarter penny in tubes for pressed pennies (I have not). She is already buying travel sized items (I have not). I haven't been as on my game with this trip.

I did plan a special castle morning for us girls for our MK day. Boys will have breakfast @ CSR and the meet us there.

Our dates are 8/18-8/26 and we are staying at CSR. We paid for the dining plan (which Ive gotten free 2 years prior ) but we won't sulk.

So far this is what our days look like:

CHECK IN MONDAY
have lunch @ Pepper Market and then swim for a bit.
Dinner @ Le Cellier and stay for Illuminations @ 9. I am sure we'll be tired from being up @ 4 (limo picking us up here @ 5:15) so we may skip this and go back another night.

TUESDAY
AK just for biggies morning with Pizzafari for lunch (love their Italian sandwich)
DHS for dinner @ Sci-Fi.
Early swimming night and bed.

WEDNESDAY
GIRLS @ CRT!!
MK day and then swim/relax afternoon. Melissa's brother is surprising the kids by showing up there. They have NO idea uncle will be in Florida the same time
1900 PF for a late dinner with wishes @10

THURSDAY
DHS and try to get the biggies done. Kayla will go see Mermaid with mommy and the mild things while us thrill seekers go to RnR and ToT
Dinner that night @ Raglan Rd. Disney Quest till 8ish then back for bed before 10.

FRIDAY
TL then back to take a nap. I am sure we are beat by now. Cape May for dinner and stroll the boardwalk...Epcot has EMH which we aren't overly fond of but may take advantage. Depends on if we napped.

SATURDAY
AK early for shows only. If we can get in EE once then its a bonus. I have never seen Nemo musical and I also want to see the bird show...
Lunchtime me and ~M~ will go to Poly or somewhere for drinks and shopping.
WCC for dinner

SUNDAY
late morning (swim) then go to Poly to rent a boat. Lunch a Capt cooks or just eat @ CSR and nap. Mama Melrose for dinner and F! MK has EMH if anyone wants to go and has any energy.

MONDAY
SLEEP LATE. Swim and head to DTD for lunch and shopping or just stick at the resort. Teppan Edo dinner and if we are not tired we'll do DHS EMH ...depends on if we want to hit a park.

TUESDAY: DTD for Earl or Wolfgang...after we checkout. Bus to airport @ 2:30.

WAHHHH HOME!!

So when I said test of friendships and relationships I meant it. me and my best friend LOVE each other , we really do---but in doses. She is like a sister and we do get cranky. We should be fine, but with 4 kids and heat, you really never know--this is a new thing for us.
Then there is her and her BF. IF he goes it may come with some conflict. He is easily irritated and will shut down. If he doesn't go, then that will be a big thing since his kids are going and that really isn't fair to them.

So we shall see. Disney Dollars bought, most clothes ready to be packed, and trip paid for...Now where are my luggage tags? I know they will be here in a week or 2 but I am impatient and it make it feel complete when they arrive.

So, I found some recent pics on a cd I have from my other computer. More to come but for now...This was for Melissa's birthday. We stayed at a hotel near Foxwoods Casino in CT and it was a blast.

THANKS CHER!!! WOOOHOO, so glad u made it over here. I don't think we'll have an issue, but like u said, drama is a good read! PWAHHHHH!!!

Ok now to update on the house:

We pulled the offer. After the inspection we had the night to think it over and decided it wasn't worth it. The house had some issues. The ones we knew were old bathrooms that needed a major remodel (not bad just VERY 50's) then we were told that there was carpenter ants, termites and water damage on the 4 seasons room. The roof had less then 5 years life left to it, and the siding needs to be replaced sooner rather then later. Pair that with making an inlaw and we have a MONEY PIT.

So we are sprucing up our current living (my parents own the house) and will keep saving. As of right now we have decided on a date for the wedding ---AUGUST 22 2009!!! So we have that to plan.
I am searching for a new job and put in a few apps and resumes at the hospital and also at a law firm...TIme for desk work. I am burnt from retail management. Though the pay is ok, I just can't take the hours away from the kids.

So there is my life update---I will be back with more photos later

Thats what I am thinking...the size and price called our name...but I think we are destined to build--so it is OUR house.

YAY you made it. Thanks for the comments on the kids. They are getting so big and it is a scarey thing.

We are really excited. The kids woke up today and started freaking out that we are "In the 30's now". It feels that much more real.

I was starting to wonder if anyone was goning to stop by my report...I even made a song:

Do you realize how FAST 151 days is going to fly??? Then once again I get to be jealous b/c I am home and you are heading off on your trip! I booked at 190ish days and I can't believe how quickly it came. AND summer is already moving way too quickly. When I get back the kids are back in school. That makes me sad How's the lil man??? I can't believe he's 2 months already!! See time does fly!

I actually have a BlackJack from ATT (like a blackberry) that has full internet and I love it, just the bill is a *you know what* when I am online...and I can't really do much at work I am so busy...Thats retail management for yah.

BUT I did spend all day yesterday submitting my resume online so I can get another job---to get out of retail management I have decided I'll even take a pay decrease. Pretty sad huh? Thats how stressed I am and not being home with the kids more kills me.

CSR ROCKS. I will stay elsewhere...When I have the $$ to stay @ the Beach Club, or the Boardwalk...or somewhere more expensive..lol. It is my favorite Moderate by far and unless I am going deluxe it'll be my #1 choice. I about cried when I had to do a split stay last trip and leave CSR. It was a sad morning for my family.
