Release those end of November dates!!!

I have been checking twice a day since the beginning of March for these dates to open. Probably the first day I forget to check, they will come out!

TC:cool1:

Hi, I'm in the same boat. I've been checking for weeks now and they haven't released our return date, which is November 10th.
Darn, I might have to stay at WDW! :goodvibes

I'm waiting for November 4th. The dates out now only go to November 3. I check every day several times a day. I'm hoping to get lucky and come across more $27 airfare.

Me too!!! I'm also waiting for November 4th! It seems like it's taking forever for them to release those fares!!!

It's been a lot longer than that!

I've been checking their site daily for the last few weeks, and for whatever reason, my internet system didn't show it moving to up to 11/3 until last Wednesday.:scared1: Maybe a page refresh problem?

I just looked and they have my return date open (11/10). Holy cow! They only have regular coach and business class listed, which are both $302.
Nov 3 departure date is $89.
Hopefully, the lower the return date soon. :sad2:

Airtran is now allowing bookings with return dates up to Tuesday, January 8, 2008.

I've been watching their fares out of White Plains, NY to MCO. During non-peak times, those start at $99 each way. But just as you saw, the pricing for the newly released post early November dates on that route are absolutely insane - similar to your situation, only the top two categories (regular coach and business class) are listed, at $309 and $379 each way respectively.

I certainly hope this is some Airtran "phased pricing" thing, where newly released schedules only contain the top pricing tiers, with lower increments to be added soon. In fact, that has to be the case -- no one in their right mind in the White Plains area is going to pay $618 + taxes/fees for a round trip ticket to Orlando on a no-frills discount carrier; not in a market where the norm is $250 or less for the same flights on a brand name legacy line. If Airtran doesn't get those prices down, American Airlines is getting my business!!!!

I just ran my Kayak search for Thanksgiving, Airtran showed up 197 R/T, so I go to their website and see the price! Yikes 324 one way!

Go back to Kayak and re-run the search. Once the great Airtran fare appears, don't click on the Airtran link below it. Instead, click on the Orbitz link. That will take you into Orbitz, which will allow you to confirm and book the $197 price on Airtran.

Thanks beachblanket!
