if you're making 250k a year, youre sitting behind a desk.
if youre making 20-30k a year, you're working in a store, you're working in a factory, you're teaching a class, you're on your feet, you're busy.
technically.
the harder workers
are low-middle class.
uuhhh...Lawyers? Doctors? Athletes? They work harder than any low-middle class job I know, even teachers.
My grandpa made a whole lot of money a year as an aeronautical engineer, but he wasn't home 10 months out of that year. He was flying all over the world monitoring the satellites.
Also, a whole lot of middle class people work behind desks. Office Space? Middle class people. The Office? Middle class people. The administration at schools is all middle class people. Secretaries and receptionists are middle class. Cubicals are pretty much dominated by the middle class. My manager at the Lego store, who is middle class, pretty much is always on the computer in his office.
I mean, I agree that lower paid people work very hard for their money, but higher paid people work hard too. It's not about who works harder than the other because you can always find balances.
The argument isn't about if they'll miss their money or not.And $250,000 is rich and I doubt these people would miss the money they lose a great deal.
It's about Obama doing something that is kinda illegal to help out less fortunate people. Ex post facto laws are illegal in the United States, so he can't really make people who got tax cuts in 2001 pay the money they WOULD'VE had to pay if the tax cuts weren't given. Unfortunately, he's counting on that money to do all the miraculous things he promised this nation. I voted Obama, but I have a feeling he's going to find it hard to keep most of his promises to this nation.
