Sorry you did not get to do Toy Story Mania. We purchased the Toy Story Mania Wii game that came out last week. It makes you wish you were there on the real thing.

Living so close do you ever go to one of the parks just for the day?

We will have to get that, didnt even know it was out. :rotfl: We do live close but I cant do Disney for just one day much to my DH and DS's dismay, its too hard for me to leave. :sad1: So we at least stay one nite. ;)

It was because of the Toy Story ride that we decided to go back to DHS again on this trip. I hope it is worth it. :goodvibes We are going there first so we can grab a fast pass.

Thats your best bet, get thier early and go directly to TSM, the fast passes are usually gone in the late morning.

I'm here, too.... am I #4?

*LOVE* the look on your DH and DS faces at SciFi!!!

I'm surprised that it was so empty (although I've seen that on a couple of other TR, too). I would've thought Labor Day was prime. What do I know?

Beth

I am so happy to have you join us, I will post more tonite. Thanks for reading. :)

It's official...ya gotta finish the report!
:banana::banana:

Welcome, I am so excited now. :goodvibes
Hi~
I just got back on Friday night and just found your TR!! It's official, you've got some readers!!! :)

Looks like a fun trip! Can't wait to hear more!!! Btw, love the faces of your son, my oldest looks like in pics, too, I always feel like I've got to explain he's having fun in pics, too!! LOL!!:lmao:

Thanks for joining in, I know my DS always looks bored or mad, but he really does have a good time. :)

You mentioned a tension rod. What do use it for?

POP doesnt have curtains between the bedroom part and the sinks, by using a tension rod and a cheap bathtub curtain, you can seperate the areas and give you some privacy when getting dressed, especially when you have a 15 year old DS. ;)

I'm in too!! I'm finding this interesting so far!! Excited for more!

Thanks for reading, and welcome

Now its a party....We want more! :woohoo:

I am getting so excited to have you all join, welcome :lovestruc

count me into the lurkers with a comment here or there popcorn::

Welcome ! and thanks :cutie:

Im going to post more tonight, Day 3 coming up.

OK, I got my days mixed up :confused3 Animal Kingdom was really our third day, but I will finish day 3 and then go back to day 2. :lmao:

After Animal Kingdom we decided to go back to the room and cool off for a while, my DS wanted to hurry up and go to The Beach Club/ Cape May because he heard they had WI FI in the lobby, and he wanted to check his face book page :rolleyes1

The only problem was I forgot that Cape May was in the Beach Club, so we went to the Boardwalk, parked and went inside, ok, so Im pretty dopey, we are walking around the lobby for about 10 minutes before I realize we are at the wrong hotel. :sad2: And DS is frantically trying to connect to WI FI, when I tell him we have to go or we are going to miss our ADR he gets really grumpy.

We get back in the car and next I drive to yep you guessed it, the Yacht Club where I am sure Cape May is, Well at least this time the guard at the gate told me I really wanted to go to the Beach Club, :lmao: so I didnt have to park again. We finally get to The Beach Club and park and again my DS is trying to connect to WI FI as soon as we get out of the car, he finally makes his connection and I go to check in, somehow we still got to the restaurant about 15 min earlier then our ADR, and we seated about 5 minutes later.

Cape May was my DH's pick and we really do enjoy it. I love clams and mussels so its a perfect pick for me. Just a few pix of dinner.

DH and DS having fun ? :confused3

My favorite a little bucket of clams and mussels.

100_1815.jpg

DS's plate, how many ways can you eat chicken?

100_1820.jpg

Dinner here is always good, after dinner my DS sat in the lobby to check his facebook page as he didnt have nearly enough time before dinner :rotfl:
and DH and I decided to take a walk down by the boardwalk, but it started to rain, so we only had a couple of minutes and we had to go back inside. We gave him a couple more minutes to connect with his friends and we headed back to POP to call it a night, tommorow Day 4 was Magic Kingdom and I was determined to make Rope drop. :cool2:

Day two was Epcot, my favorite park. We got there pretty early and decided to have a lite breakfast at Sunshine Seasons. We really like it there, its quick and lots of choices for everyone.

DS usually eats lite in the morning, not a big breakfast eater so he had his normal bagel, cereal and of course energy drink.

100_1723.jpg

DH and I each had a bagel, coffee and we split this wonderful chocolate croissant.

100_1724.jpg

After we ate we went to directly to Soarin, My favorite ride in Epcot , and we were able to walk right on, ( we got fast passes first for later in the day.) I just love that ride, I always ask for the front so we dont have to look at anyones feet. :lmao: I was so dissapointed that Living with the Land was closed, it is one of my DS;s favorites.

Then we were off to Test Track, Ellen energy adventure, Mission Space (green side of course) and Nemo. Then it was time for fast passes on Soarin again, I could do this ride over and over, it really is too short, I wish they would extend it for another 2 or 3 minutes. ;)

We also do journey into imagination with figment, it always makes me so sad that alot of folks dont go to this attraction, I know it needs somthing, some updating at least, but I love figment.

Now it was off to World Showcase, of course we did the only two rides, Mexico's boat ride, these guys were playing,

100_1732.jpg

and Norway's Maelstrom. Last time we were on Maelstrom it broke down when we were at the very top and had to walk down, so we were hoping to enjoy the entire ride and we did.

Now my DS is getting hungry and decides he wants chicken AGAIN

We get to America and decide to have lunch at the Liberty Inn.

Ds's plate

100_1725.jpg

Dh and I both had the burgers, these are always pretty good.

100_1726.jpg

We always enjoy the Voices of Liberty, they really sing beautifully

100_1729.jpg

100_1730.jpg

We saw the director again at Magic Kingdom a couple of days later, he is also part of the Main Street barber shop quartet, I think they call themselves the Dapper Dans ?

I love the show at the American pavillion, but my DS and DH always fall asleep in there, its dark and cool and they just doze off almost as soon as the lights go out. :scared1:

Part two comming up ;)

We had dinner Adr's at Tutto Italia for 545, and we got there a little bit early and watched this really funny show.

100_1743.jpg

I love they way they grab people from the crowd and make them perform, very funny.

We checked in and were seated immediately. This was too good to be true. Tutto was my husbands second pick of this trip but I have to confess I love it there too. The theming, service and food were all wonderful. Just a few pictures of our meals.

Everything tasted as good as it looks, after dinner we did a few more rides (we missed Illuminations) and we were able to ride Soarin one more time and then we decided to head back to POP so we could get an early start in the morning.

However, I did try to get some pictures of the main fountain as we left.

100_1754.jpg

Believe it or not, my DS wanted Pizza when we got back to the room so down to Everything POP we went and he had this.

100_1755.jpg

Since we were there DH and I split this

100_1756.jpg

What would POP be without a piece of Tie Dye cheesecake :rotfl:

I hope all the food tasted as good as it looked in your pictures. The tie dyed cheesecake looked like a good way to end the day. It was too pretty to eat, but I guess you had to do it anyway. :rotfl:

Tutto Italia was delicious, I still cant believe we ate Cheesecake that night.:rotfl:

So quick question; did you take your laptop or was your Son able to log on to a computer already in place in the lobby? Nice food pics; that cheesecake looked yumm-eee!

Actually, he used his PSP, to check his facebook, etc. We didnt bring our laptop because it wouldnt fit in the safe in the room and we didnt want to just leave it out.

The Cheesecake was sooooo good. Thanks for staying with me. ;)

ohhh, thanks for the pictures of Tutto Italia!! I've made ressies there, and like everything that isn't a buffet, i'm nervous about what DBF will eat (he's an INSANELY picky eater) But it looks yummy!!!

Great updates!!

I'm enjoying your Trip report, can't wait to read more. Loved your report on DHS. This is the one park we did not get enough time in, in May, can't wait to get there again.

Your son reminds me of mine. Mine is 13 and likes to go to Disney but sure isn't as amused as me and the girls are.

Its a great restaurant, I think everyone can find something they like. :thumbsup2

Hi ! Didnt you start the labor day countdown ?! We were at SSR 9/5-9/12. I am enjoying your report. I took my kids out of school for 4 days DD10 & DS12.
I would do it again too... we had a great time!:goodvibes I am glad I found your report.

Day 4 we went to Magic Kingdom,

We finally made Rope Drop, I've always wanted to, and was so excited.

100_1833.jpg

100_1834.jpg

100_1835.jpg

We hadn't seen the World decorated for Halloween before, and it was beautiful.

If you dont have reservations for breakfast your choices are pretty limited, so we had breakfast at the Main St. Bakery.

For breakfast DH and I had this wonderful ham, egg and cheese Croissant.:lovestruc
100_1842.jpg

DS had his usual bagel. :lmao:
100_1840.jpg

And we all shared this decadent cinnamon roll.

100_1841.jpg

Wish I had one now. :)

While we were eating a barber shop quartet walked around singing, it was really fun, and we couldnt help but notice that one of the men was also the lead in the Epcot American Adventure group The voices of Liberty.

I was still surprised at how uncrowded the MK was. And I loved all the Halloween decorations.

My first look at the Castle, not a great pix but you get the idea.

100_1838.jpg

100_1839.jpg

100_1837.jpg

The first place we headed to was Pirates of the Caribean, the last couple of times this was down due to being refurbishement. We were so excited to see the addition of Johnny Depp ! Well we run right over to it, and it is :scared1: roped off and cms are telling us that the ride is down, no way, I cant believe it, they said some sort of sensor was not working but they guaranteed us it would be up later in the day. I was so sad :sad2:

So we decide to go to the Haunted Mansion, it is one of my favorite rides in MK.

100_1846.jpg

No wait, just walk right on, so of course we immediately did it again. :thumbsup2

For the last two trips to the world The Liberty Square riverboat ride hasn't been working either and it is one of my DH's favorite ride, we were so excited to see it up and running we got on right away and it pulled out about 2 min later.

Here is my DH excited to actually be on the boat.

100_1844.jpg

Not sure how much my DS enjoyed this but he pretended. ;)

100_1848.jpg

Since we were right across the street of Hall of Presidents we decided to see the addition of President Obama. I really enjoyed the new show, the changes were very intersting and as usual I tiered up during the movie, however Ds and Dh took thier usual nap as soon as the show started. :confused3

Ok, lets go see if Pirates is up and running yet. :woohoo:

That breakfast looked yummy from the bakery. It is our tradition to eat at Crystal Palace on our MK day so we've always missed out on rope drop at the front of the park. It is on the "someday list". Great pictures; looks like you guys had good weather!

Browsing through TR and came upon yours. Scrolling through the pictures, and saw your POP room number - 3424!! Same room we stayed in last week!!! :cool1: DD (also a straight A sophomore) and I spent a week there for our first trip to WDW. Great room, great food, great trip!!!:woohoo:
