Hope Kim is having a great day today, whatever they decide to do!!

I'm so sad for them having to make the drive home tomorrow. But very excited to hear all about their trip.

I'm HOME!!! It stinks to say that.

I'm almost caught up on all the laundry.

When I left last week I had a little sniffle. It turned into a full blown sinus infection while we were there. Better me than the kids though. I got some lovely antibiotics and am hoping it's gone soon.

The drive was AWFUL!!!!!!!!

Andrew spent most of the drive down vomiting into gallon bags. (Sorry for the V word but most of us are moms and you know you've all been there!) At one point we thought about turning back! Dramamine kicked in and we kept going. It took us a little over 16 hours to get there. Coming home was just as bad but at least there wasn't any vomiting involved. We hit the messy ice/snow and had to split the drive into 2 days. Took a total of 18.5 hours to get home. I think next time we'll fly for sure. Even DH agreed and he hates to fly so that's saying something!

The days in between the miserable drives were MAGICAL and that's all that matters!

I'll be working on uploading all my pics over the next few days!

I'm so sorry to hear that Andrew was so sick on the way down. That really stinks. One of my boys was very sick last Monday in the car on the way to DH's surgery in Pittsburgh. It was a rough hour trip. So I can't even imagine what you must have went through on that 16 hour drive.

We have been talking about driving down next time if we can't get decent airfare. But I think you just talked me right out of it!

I'm so glad to hear that your days at Disney were great. I can't wait to hear all about it and see all of your wonderful pictures!

sure do! normal life stinks. Why can't we have "normal life" for 1-2 weeks a year and vacation for all the rest of the weeks?

I'm almost all caught up with and still have our backpack that we took with us to the parks everyday to unpack yet. It will get done at some point. Maybe I'll just leave it packed for the next trip. That would be a better choice for me mentally right now.

NOOOOO!!!!! Don't drive especially if one your kids is prone to getting car sick. It's not worth saving a few bucks for me anymore.
