We will be there too! We are planning an all day play at AK followed up by a trip to DTD in the evening!



My list keeps getting shorter and shorter every day! Tomorrow I have to go buy myself some new t-shirts! YAY!!! Shopping!!!

Now it's Wednesday! Glad to hear your list is getting shorter! I bought some new shirts for the trip too. Wish I could have found some new shorts but they aren't out yet around here. Bathing suits- yes. Shorts- no. Makes no sense.

I'm off to do a little of this and get a little more packing done before we leave TOMORROW NIGHT!!!!! Feels so good to be able to say that!

I will check in tomorrow and I am working on being able to say hello from DH's cell phone during our trip. He's going tonight and if he upgrades we may have internet access for the trip!

Yippee - It's almost time!

I am busy with laundry as well, dising to pass the time, so I don't fall asleep. I started to pack our toiletries and decided, why am I doing this when I am only going to recheck it many times over Friday night !

We ended up getting DD a camera She was going to borrow my mom's but we'd need to purchse a memory card for it, which due to the age of the camera (Fuji) was going to cost us quite a bit, So I am convincing myself this new point n shoot is a wise investment.

I also refused to take my blackberry (work related) so needed to dig out my personal cell phone (which I never use). At least I didn't leave it completely last minute

I really should have done a PTR to vent this all
I think I will try to do TR .

And for sure we should start a thread/club for digital scrapbooking

Good for you! Forget about work for a while! I thought I should have done a PTR too, but latched on to Shawna's instead. Then when I did a TR, I just started with all my planning stuff that would have been in a PTR!
I'd be interested in the scrapbooking, even though I do it all the traditional way now.

Well this is my last check in before we leave! Our plans may be changing a little since our area is expecting some icy messy stuff tonight. DH is talking about leaving earlier????

My happy news is that online there are still rooms available at ASMovies! If we do make it that far I'll be calling to possibly reserve a room last minute for Friday. We're not telling the kids yet though just in case we don't make it that far or in case they don't have any rooms left. Wish me luck!!!!!!

12 hours or a whole lot less at this point. We may be getting some icy stuff overnight and DH is talking about possibly leaving after he gets home from work in a hour! We'll see. I'm not too keen on driving overnight. I worry about us staying awake and being overtired tomorrow.
