And those are really cute socks!! I think it will be a fun surprise opening a huge box - will you ask them what there guess is what's in the box before they unwrap it? I think there might be some rather funny ideas coming to their minds - who expects a vacation in a box??

Ooooh! Good idea to ask what they think it might be! My luck DS will guess a puppy because he's been asking for one for about a year now.

I cut out all of the countdown chain links last night- DH helped me! Turns out I can't count and am short a link for each of them. Now my printer is giving me trouble and won't print. Just my luck!

I am in a Happy Disney Mood today.

Got my email confirmation that the trip is paid in full.

Checked my regular mail and found a very cute Christmas card from my Grandmom with a $50 check in it for the kids for Disney!

And this is what I'm drinking out of today at nap time! I can't wait to get my Celebrate mug in 44 days! I still feel slighted that all they had last January were leftover YOAMD mugs and very few Celebrate decorations were up.

I love the surprise bags idea! It will be so exciting after they realize what is going on... the top present this year for sure!

And I have to say... I love that they are still young enough to do the complete Disney outfit thing... my kids have the odd "darkish" kind of things... like Jack Skellington and the villians... Sigh... they do get older don't they?

So many Disney clothes! OMGosh! I am really having a hard time finding shirts for DD8 to wear! Our local stores don't sell Character shirts in her size and there is not much available in her size or preference on the Disney Shopping site right now! I really don't want to have to wait until we get to Minneapolis to find stuff cause then I won't have a chance to wash it before she can wear it!

We are at 44 days until we leave to start our Disney Adventure! I paid us in FULL the other day! Had to do it while our Dollar was still high!

I love that they are still into the Disney shirts. I was kind of sad buying a POTC shirt for DS. He's never seen it but he is a pirate fan these days. I don't know how many more years I can get away with it but I'll enjoy it while it lasts.

Oooh menus! I better get cracking on those too! Thanks for the reminder! The paid in full email was magical- now it feels real! I'm not looking forward to the email later this month from Disney Visa telling me I owe them now though. At least it's a few more reward points for the trip!

It's much easier finding character stuff in the smaller sizes and before they become picky about what they're wearing!
I really lucked out hitting the Disney Store outlet in Lancaster PA. It's about a 45 minute drive but all the t-shirts were $2.50 each and the sweatshirts were on clearance with an extra 40%off. DS's Toy Story sweatshirt was under $4 when all was said and done! I was tempted to go back one more time before we leave NEXT MONTH (so cool I can say next month) but I don't need to spend any more $$$ so I'm restraining myself.

Yay for 45 days and paid in full!!! I will be excited to say that when the time comes.

Great buys at the outlet! And those Target socks are great! I love the $1 bins at Target!!!

We just got back from a adult-only shopping overnight to Branson (which we go to specifically because they have the only 2 Disney stores in Missouri) and I was so disappointed! We've always had good luck getting really cheap stocking stuffers and they just really didn't have much this year. And the "outlet" prices are the exact same as the Disney store they have in another mall in Branson. All we got were two Lightening McQueen art sets for 5.99 each, and then I got a MMClubhouse Dr set for Keaton for $15. Not bargain prices, but they'll love them. Of course we felt guilty for leaving them for a night and day, so we gave them the art sets already <can you see SUCKER tattoo'd on my forehead>! But I was able to get a minor Disney-fix, so I'm content for a while!

I do the same thing. My kids have already gotten a couple things that were supposed to be Christmas gifts. Our outlet is hit or miss with the prices. I just happened to hit it at the right time this time. Other times I've gone and their prices are the same as the store in the mall.

Hope DH gets a nap in between the laundry and unpacking. We're debating on driving through the night on the way to Disney but I'm afraid it will waste the first day. We'll be so miserable and tired and the kids will be refreshed and ready to go. I don't think I would make it staying awake.

38 days to go! Do you have all your "lists" made? I now have lists made that I just print from my computer for every trip and check them off. It is ridiculous!

I made my to do list yesterday. Most importantly I need to get my itinerary set for sure and find some time to look at CS restaurants for some ideas of where we can stretch the QSDDP the most. I love my lists but wish I had more time to check things off of them!

Smart boy! Andrew wants to take a train to Disney next time.
A couple people have looked at me like I'm crazy when I tell them we're driving rather than flying.
Last time, we stopped on the way down but went straight through to get home. We left FL at 7:30am and pulled into our driveway around midnight. It was great to have ALL day Sunday to do laundry and relax before heading back to reality on Monday. We'll probably do the same this time.
