Combo PTR & TR w/a side of Scrapbooking: I'm Back! TR link posted!

I've never been to rope drop at AK but maybe I should put it on my list! What do they do at AK?

It happens in front of the Tree fo Life and it really pays off trying to be as much to the front as possible. Minnie, Goofy and I think Pluto come out on a very high Safari truck all excited that they are going on a big adventure. They check off certain things from a list to prepare for it but then they miss their tour guide: Mickey. They finally find Mickey and then the day starts with everyone shouting " Let the adventure begin!". I think it really is very cute. The crowd then splits in two: half is walking to EE, the other to KS, both behind a rope which is carried by the CMs. I love the little show! :goodvibes

Hey Kim...finally got a chance to start reading PTR's!!! I too love scrapbooking although I have not tried digital...one day!!

Just thought I'd give a quick suggestion...last Jan I took my son to the BBB to get his hair done - I know it sounds really girly BUT the reason I picked BBB over the barbar shop was I was able to make an appointment for before the park opened. It only cost $7.50 to get the colours, and mickey confetti. All day people stopped us and asked where we got it done my son LOVED IT! I will admit when we first got there he looked at me like :confused3 this is all girls but it only took 15-20 mins to get it done and we were out of there. Just a suggestion :flower3:

I'm enjoying your PTR!! You have a lovely family!

I used to own a scrapbook store, so you sucked me right in with your beautiful pages. I love them, great job.

I have some pages that I've been wanting to post on my PTR!

The great thing about scrapbooking is even when the vacation is over :sad1:
you can still relive all the memories while you put your scrapbook together! :lovestruc
Thanks for saying hello! Scrapbooking is definitely a great way to stretch out the trip! Plus it gets me super excited to go again! :thumbsup2

Awww Mel he looks so handsome! Oh I'm sorry, he looks so *cool* :cool1: I'd have to let DS's hair grow out a little for it though :lmao: He just got it buzzed. ;)

MK Part 2!

Magic Kingdom is our most favorite park :cloud9:and our first stop on our vacation. We usually spend at least 2 days here.

Last January this was our first attraction we visited…

It’s kind of tradition. Small World is my Dad’s favorite. When we went in 2004 it was closed for refurbishment and he was so disappointed. So we made it our first stop when we got to MK last January!

We also saw Spectro for the first time last trip too! I think we may skip it this time around though. The crowds were crazy that night because of it.

DS and my sister’s kids were able to ride in the front of the monorail. Guess we won’t be doing that again after the terrible accident they had a few months back. :sad2:

My niece went to CRT. I thought about doing this with DD this trip but it’s not quite in our budget. I think I would rather wait until she’s a little older to spend that kind of cash!

Besides, DD is at that goofy stage rather than the princess stage right now! :lmao:

He does look pretty cool! We always buzz his hair too...we grew it out just for this :) My husband bugged me for weeks about cutting it and I kept saying WAIT UNTIL WE GET BACK FROM DISNEY!! Really did he not understand I had stuff planned :lmao:

Wow, I just found your TR. Love, love, love it. I'm a scrap booker too.:woohoo: Used to do it the old way. I've been recently hooked on a photobook site called picaboo. I've made several books there. That is the way to go. I used to spend a small fortune just getting pics developed. Some of which I never used. Now I just print a couple that I want to frame and do a photo book. Which you can make like a scrapbook, adding different background papers and things. I haven't really done the digital scrapbooking pages, but would love to. I'm a little confused, you said you used software, the polaroid site you gave. So is that a program that helps you lay it out, and you just purchase extra backgrounds and elements?
Happy planning, love all the past pics.
We're getting excited for a Dec trip. can't wait.:yay:

Loved your MK updates and the layouts!! I'm buying the CM storybook digital scrapbook software tonight and then going to try it out at Croptoberfest tomorrow night, I am so excited about that!!!!

YAY for getting such a great deal and saving money that is always the best feeling in the world!! Right now I'm waiting for a great AP rate to come out for my January trip as I don't think 4/3 would be the best deal for me and my traveling companion...so wish us luck!!!

I'm a fairly new scrapbooker but that is what drew me in to this report. :hippie: So here I am... :surfweb: trying to catch up with so many pages ahead of me still. :)

These hubby's just don't get it sometimes. My DH thinks you call Disney and book the trip and that's all the planning involved :scared1:

:welcome: I didn't think I'd fall in love with digital this much but once you get started it's sooooo easy and addictive! I use the Polaroid My Memories Suite Software- it's VERY easy to use. I've also heard great things about the Creative Memories software but it's a bit pricey for me. If you are on facebook, Polaroid My Memories has a page and have been giving away a copy of the software for every hundreth person to join (500, 600, 700, etc.) If you time it right, you could get it free :goodvibes It comes with lots to use and you can add to it with either their stuff or stuff from other sites.

Let me know how CM is! Not that I could ever talk DH into letting me get it or anything but I am really jealous that it has licensed Disney stuff!

Crossing my fingers you get a great AP rate. I'm happy with the 4/3. Would have been nicer with the $200 gift card again but I'll take what I can get!

Morning everyone! These pics have nothing to do with Disney but I wanted to share them :goodvibes I could tie it in and say that I've always wanted to do the campfire thing at the Wilderness but that would be stretching it

We live 2 doors down from a farm and every year the farmer has a bonfire. It's a really good time. The kids love it! They roast hot dogs and marshmallows and make yummy S'mores. (I had a few too many of those and came home with a belly ache. :lmao: )

DD eating a S'more- she LOVED them!

My babies in front of the tractor. The hay ride was their favorite part!

I love Fall! It's my favorite season!

Yeah It got pretty chilly pretty quickly here too. I got out the kids winter coats for the bus stop this morning. That's okay with me though. Winter = Disney for me!!!!

Cute pics of your kiddos. Love the John Deere tractor!

Thanks for stopping by Sea!

DH is the world's biggest John Deere fan. He has a small JD tractor that he restored and would someday like to have one like in that pic. I keep reminding him we don't have a farm and don't need it. He wants to use it to get the mail.

Aw, very cute pictures! :goodvibes

I usually love fall too, but not this year, it is too cold here already. :sad2:

We're up to about 4 inches today and it's still coming down!! I had to cram the kids' feet into their nearly too small boots today! I even followed a salting truck into work. Did I sleep through October and November??????

I'll post pictures on the snowbirds thread tonight when I get home.

Awww what cute pictures of your kids Kim!!!

BTW I loved using my CM Storybook!! It is a great program, now if I could just figure out how to save my layouts so I can show them to you guys!!!!

4 inches! :scared1: Wow it's way too early for that! No snow here yet, but it sure feels like it could at any time. :sad2:

SNOW?!?!?!?!:scared1:
I am SO not ready for snow! We've got lots of rain and highs in the 50's and low 60's! I feel for you northern peeps because it's already too darn cold for me! Although Saturday we had a gorgeous day. Started out really cold at our 9am soccer game...we'd had so much rain the few days before, I think the other team thought we were rained out. We got there only 15 minutes before game time and there were only a few players there. The other team started the game (we started about 10 minutes late waiting anyway) with 6 players. Before the 1st half they finally had a "legal" number of players. Drew was goalie and they scored on him! :sad1: That was only the second goal against our boys all year. We ended the game in a tie so "technically" we're still undefeated! ;)

After the game I took my first trip down to the wineries! The sun came out, there was an 80's band, it was just an awesome day! Lots of girl-talk and laughing! I'm not a huge wine drinker so I sipped on one glass the whole day, but laughed so hard my cheeks hurt!

Hope you all had a good Monday. I was off today (thanks Chris Columbus) so I cleaned all day. Not as productive as I wanted to be, but I still got a lot done!
