Combo PTR & TR w/a side of Scrapbooking: I'm Back! TR link posted!

Last year I packed the boys clothes in the big tub. I packed a pair of shorts, shirt, socks, and underwear in a gallon size zip lock bag and labled them with their names. I had one for each boy, each day that we were at Disney. That way in the morning all I had to do was grab a bag labled with their name and dress them. No looking for shirts, socks, etc. Plus it was easier for my mother in law because she didn't have to try to figure out who's clothes were who's.

As you know, January is hard to pack for because you never know if its going to be hot or cold. I went to walmart and got a few plain long sleeve shirts and a pair of wind pants for each boy. In the mornings I would dress them with their t-shirts over a long sleeve shirt and then the wind pants over their shorts. Once it started to warm up, I took off the long sleeve shirts and pants and it was perfect.

We did the long sleeve shirts under t shirts last year too! Wearing layers was definitely a good idea. By mid day we took off our long sleeves and just wore t shirts. I didn't think of doing the wind pants over shorts though. My kids are still tiny so I just packed them shorts to change into if they needed to. We also had a stroller to keep all of it so I didn't have to worry about carrying any of it.

Once I get my binder all in order I'm going to start making a list of my Must Do's and such for each park and start posting some of the layouts I've done from our visits to those parks...I've not posted much but I've been a busy bee scrapbooking! I can't wait to share! Thanks for your patience!

Oh my goodness! Your level of organization puts me to shame!! Thank you for sharing that link with the binder pages. One question, if I wanted to print off the lists for each park, how would I do that? Thanks and keep up the great work!

Then I downloaded them and printed them as photos- full page cropped to fit and they printed great without anything missing. I hope that answers your question!

Yup there's only 3.

For some reason we ran out of time at Epcot. We covered most of the Land- missed Soarin because the lines were ridiculous and the Fastpasses were all out. We also covered most of the Seas- we loved Nemo and TurtleTalk!

We managed to see parts of World Showcase in passing while we walked to get a spot for Illuminations. We didn't have time to go in and explore any of the countries though.

Sooooo.....here's my Not To Be Missed List for Epcot...

EVERYTHING- except Test Track and Mission Space- none of us have the stomach for those two.

Our main focus will be on World Showcase. Epcot is DH's favorite park and I feel terrible that we didn't get a chance for him to enjoy it. I'm even going to make sure we have enough time for him to sit and enjoy a beer in Germany! And I will NOT miss Soarin' this time!!!!!

I'm soooo backlogged with my scrapbooking- sometimes I think I'll never catch up so I definitely understand!

The only problem with me strolling to France while he's drinking it up in Germany is who would be responsible for our kids! I'm a lightweight! We may have to space it out a bit.

Awww thanks for popping in Shelly! I'm hoping I get as good of a reaction from my kids as you did from your boys last Christmas!

I can't wait to hear how POR is when you go. We're still torn between the familiarity and comfort of CBR or being brave and trying POR.

Thought I'd sub along. I'm also a new digiscrapper. I've always done our WDW trips in paper, so I have to decide it I'll which way to scrap our upcoming trip I've started working on my planning binder and DD's autograph book, but I didn't think to do them digitally!

I'm hooked on the digital...I don't know how I used paper for so many years without having that wonderful "UNDO" button
As far as the planning binder, I loved Kellybell's title pages- she even made me one that says Christmas to help get my surprise ready and one for CBR and Packing. I love being organized.

I am a bit (okay, maybe more than a bit) nervous about trying POR! But I'm sure it will be fine. Hopefully! We sure will miss CBR though.

I'm sure you will like POR once you get there. You can always visit CBR and take a stroll if you feel homesick! Plus that big waterwheel looks "way cool" (as my little guy says) plus I like that they have a boat to Downtown Disney which is fun. Oh wait I'm talking myself into POR! No worries, DH is stuck on CBR though so I'm sure that's where we'll end up...again! Perhaps next time we'll try POR

Well, we’ve decided how to get to Florida! I’ve been noticing how cheap airline tickets are and brought it up to DH- who by the way has been pretty open to talking Disney lately! He would still rather drive. It’s still cheaper plus we like having a car rather than taking the bus all the time with two kids and a stroller. If I'm dragging him, he can choose how we get there!

So it looks like we’ll be packing up Minnie the minivan (yes that’s what my kids call it) or the Red Car (Jason’s SUV) and doing this again…

Time to start getting the car games and coloring books ready! Oh and we'll definitely be adding a DVD player to Santa's list! That thing was a life saver last year but it bit the dust a couple months ago so I'll be crossing my fingers I can get a new one on sale Black Friday.

Okay so while we missed TONS at Epcot, we didn't do so bad at DHS! We only missed a few things this past January… Here’s what we did see…

The kids loved catching bubbles at Playhouse Disney…we’ll be doing this one again!

And we got lost trying to find these two fellas, but we eventually found them! Now that we know where they are we should be able to find them a little easier this time around!

Our most favorite part of DHS was Toy Story Mania- quite possibly everyone else’s too since it was always crowded. It was well worth the long lines though. DD loved the silly yellow glasses! It’s a must do again this next trip too!
