Combining two different reservations for the same room category

Can two separate reservations for the same room category be combined, if each of them has been made under a different DVC member's account?

For example, a renter of mine had a prexisting reservation for a 2-BR standard at Kidani, and rented points from me to book an additional night in a 2-BR standard at Kidani. While both reservations are for the same room category, can the two be linked such that she would not have to change rooms?

I assume this would be a straightforward thing to do, but I'm not sure whether I can do this as the owner of points for one reservation, when the other reservation was made using another owner's points.

Yes I would ask MS directly, but I can't get through and their chat isn't working! But thought I'd see here first so as to inform my renter.

They can not be combined. However, both you and the other owner need to contact MS and ask that it be noted this is a continuing stay and put the other reservation number.

When the person checks in, they should remind the front desk to ensure they were put in the same room because if not, that is the time they can try to fix it,

It is not guaranteed but I do it all the time on my two memberships and so far, never had to change rooms.
