Combining tickets

I recently won 5 one day park hopper tickets at an auction. We are heading down to AKL in February and were planning on going to MGM and AK. With these tickets I just need to buy 3 one day tickets. My question is, how do I use the park hoppers on the 2nd park day? We were going to go to HS on a Thursday and AK on Friday. Since we got the park hopper option, we were going to pop over to Epcot for a couple hours.

2. THREE "1-day tickets" or ONE "3-day ticket?" (Tickets for how many guests are involved?)
3. Put all of the tickets into your MDX account.
Before going to a park gate on the first day, go to any Guest Relations and have the PRIORITY of the ticket that you DO want to use at that first park set to the highest priority.
Then, before going to a park gate on the second day, go to any Guest Relations and have the PRIORITY of the ticket that you DO want to use at that second park set to the highest priority.
Do that Guest Relations procedure before going to a park gate every time you want to "change which ticket is used next."

I'm assuming there are 4 in your party as you are going to the parks two days and need a total of 8, 1-day tickets - is that correct? If that is the case, and you are only park hopping on day 2, you need to buy 3, 1-day tickets that are date specific to day 1. You will then link those tickets to your profiles in MDE. For example:

Guest 1, 2 and 3 - 1 purchased, date specific base ticket for day 1 + 1 comp park hopper
Guest 4 - 2 comp park hoppers

I would then do what Robo suggests, go to guest services prior to entering your first park and make sure the date-specific, base ticket is "prioritized" to use first. It "should" be as it's specific to that park day, but with Disney IT as it is (not so great), it's best to double check to make sure.

On your second day, only the comp park hopper tickets should remain in your account (unless you have other ticket media linked) and you should be able to enter on those tickets without stopping at guest services. If you do have other ticket media linked, however, I would do as Robo says and go to guest services again prior to entering.

I didn't know about the priority option so that is awesome. I was definitely thinking about the date specific but adding the priority option will definitely make me more relaxed! Thanks for the help!
