I think I know the answer to this but was wondering if when you check in, can they combine your room key and your park ticket. If so, can they do this with an AP as well?

Thanks

Ticket yes, the resort concierge can do that.

AP no - you have to keep your AP as it is.

Would it matter if it is a non-expiration ticket and you don't plan to use all the days that trip?

Not in terms of them being able to do it - they still can. But *I* probably wouldn't bother in that case, just to make sure that the old KTTW card doesn't get accidentally thrown out or anything. Besides, my family thinks there is an advantage to having separate ticket media - if my DH runs for FPs with everyone's tickets (APs in our case), we still have our KTTW cards if I want to purchase something and charge it to the room, get a snack, etc.

Or I could (theoretically) take a kid back to the resort while the others stayed in the park and they could continue getting FPs without stopping us from getting back in the room with our KTTW.

I've had an AP for over 10 years and have never had an issue with a separate ticket and key. I put them both in my lanyard or in my wallet.
