Can you stalk your way to a 2BR at Boardwalk?

Example for a party of 6: You are able to first book a standard studio and a pool view studio, Then you stalk regularly and discover a 1BR standard and book it while dropping the pool view studio.

Can you call MS and have them combine them into a single 2BR reservation in order to have it cost less points overall?

They cannot combine them to make a 2BR but they can make a note on the reservations that you would prefer that the rooms connect. I was able to do that for my daughter and her friends in the fall of 2020 and it worked out. But that was still during a lot of COVID restrictions and rooms were going unreserved, so the room assigner had an easier job.

MS will not change a separate studio and 1BR reservation at BWV into a 2BR. That change can happen only if, at the time of the request, a 2BR is separately available to reserve. You can, as noted, make a non-guaranteed request to have the rooms attached at check-in.

Problem is many of the studios and 1 bedrooms are dedicated - no connecting door.
