My son is turning 4 on Feb 18th. We were planning on having a birthday party that Saturday following his birthday. Now we have decided to have a super bowl party as well. My first thought was to combine the parties since everyone will already be here but I just don't know if I should.

Even though everyone will be here, they will be here for the super bowl. I don't see having much time for cake and presents and all that on the same day. I don't know that it will be all that special for DS. But on the other hand, I don't want people to have to come here on super bowl Sunday and then 2 weks later have to turn around and come over again. Everyone is so busy that I hate to put them out like that.

What do you think?

My son's birthday is the day after Christmas. We always have a party the weekend before his birthday, and then we end up celebrating the holidays with many of the same people. People who really care about your son won't mind coming to two very separate events.
