Hi, I have a question. Getting ready to purchase a stroller.

Which is best for a very tall and big toddler? My dd is going to be 3 at the end of next month. She is 42lbs and 42" tall. She looks like a 4 or 5 year old.........(Daddy is very tall and Kaylee is going to take after him....)

So is the combi a good stroller? I want something that is rated for at least 45 lbs, stroller weights 12lbs or less, reclines, and has a carry strap.

This is the only stroller I can find that meet all of these. If anyone know of anyother strollers that are easy to push with all the things I am looking for please share...

Thank you all so much..... I am going nuts trying to figure out what kind of stroller to get my very tall and big toddler!!!! :headache:

The Combis don't fit bigger kids very well. They are also built for shorter adults, so your DH probably won't like pushing one.

How about the Maclaren Quest? You can add a travel strap from www.combistrollers.com (made for the Savvy). It meets your requirements, but from your two posts, I can tell you that your DD will still have to learn to keep her feet on the rest and not let them drag - my DS is 42" tall, and the Maclaren sits so low that his toes usually hit the wheels.

Kidco umbrellas also have a high weight limit (50lbs I think) and can probably use the Combi carry strap too.

Go to BRU and check out the Combi's if you can. I have a Combi. I have never liked it. It is just too flimsy feeling IMHO. Terrible for turning especially with a older or bigger child.

Like the other poster suggested, check out the Maclarens....the Volo would probably suit her just fine. It's around 9 lbs and has a carry strap. No recline, but my 18 mth old naps just fine in it. If you need recline, go with the Quest. My 5 year old is 41 lbs and 42 inches and he rides comfortably in the Volo. Pushing a Mac is wonderful! Try one out! Hopefully your BRU has both the Combi and Mac and you can see the difference.
