You forfeit your app when you use the DxDDP for a QS meal. You will still only get an entree and drink even though you're on the DxDDP.

Worst value of a credit is letting it expire unused. Over the length of an entire vacation, it's ok to make less optimal choices on DxDP occasionally - it's really the only plan where you can come out ahead without working hard to game the system, so inefficiencies here and there don't hurt too much.
