We're spending more time in the Magic Kingdom this next trip and we plan to have a counter service meal or two there. The menu of Columbia Harbor House looks great! How is the food? The choices look healthful... how is the taste??

TIA!!!

:sunny:

CHH is our favorite MK counter service restaurant. You're right - the choices are healthier than most CS places. We've tried several items there and have liked them all.

we always eat here! love the chicken fingers & fries - always crispy!

My family really enjoys this restaurant. You can find some fun "nooks" to relax after you get thru the long line to order/get food. LOL.

We also love their chicken fingers & french fries. My husband likes CHH because of the clam chowder.

This is one of our favorites too! Make sure you remember that there is an upstairs to this restaurant. It's usually quieter and less hectic than the downstairs. We love their chicken strips here, but they also have great salads and sandwiches. I love their starboard deck sandwich. It's basically a ham sandwich and I get it without the broccoli slaw on it. The bread is sooo good - it has black olives in the bread and it gives it such a yummy flavor! They also have the best clam chowder according to my MIL. She says a lot of places have fishy tasting chowders, but CHH's was just perfect.

We ate there last time and I had the 1/2 tuna sandwich and cup of chowder and I have to say that was the best tuna sandwich I have ever had. I don't know what was so special about it but it sure tasted good. We plan on going there for CS on our next trip too!

We love CHH. It is a must do every trip (sometimes more then once.) I like the fish. The salad is good too. The kids meals are good. I just like it. :thumbsup2

Love the lighthouse sandwich!! Delicious!!

In all my years going to WDW we never ever ate at the CHH. This year we did the KTTK Tour and it included lunch at the CHH......WOW O WOW, it was fabulous.

You will NOT be disappointed!!! :thumbsup2

My ONLY disappointment is that I did not eat there SOONER!!! :thumbsup2

We all love this place, my sons get the chicken or share the tuna with me,but when I get the tuna, AND I ask for white toast, instead of the multi grain bread, and when you do that? You actually then get 2 sandwiches on white toast and we share it, because there is so much tuna, they need 4 pieces of toast, versus 2 of the mulit grain bread.
We then get one order of fries and split it and it's enough food.
Clam chowder is great also.
Eat upstairs, easy to find the stairs and so much more quiet!

Love the Garden Galley Salad! Usually I get that at least once every trip.

If you eat upstairs, there are a few tables in an alcove that overlook the sidewalk connecting Fantasyland and Liberty Square. It's fun to watch all the action below while you eat. :)

It's great! And so nice to have a cool tasty sandwich on a hot day.

We're trying for the first time in November - never thought I would go somewhere for a tuna sandwich, but I've read so many great things about it - I can't wait to try it

I think about the Garden Galley Salad almost as much as I do the filet at Le Cellier!!!! (Maybe not, but I do LOVE this salad!)
