Columbia Harbor House allergy question

We have not eaten at CHH but I would like to. My son is allergic to fresh water fish.

I would obviously get him chicken, but does anyone know what kind of fish they serve here? Or if they fry their chicken in the same fryer as the fish?

Disney recommends that CHH is not safe for guests with seafood allergies and such guests dine elsewhere.

For fis/shellfish allergies the CHH allergy menu states: "For Fish or Shellfish, we recommend a different establishment due to the volume of Fish and Shellfish produced in this location."

His allergy is not severe enough to avoid seafood establishments and we eat fish regularly. He can have shellfish and saltwater fish. That is why I'm wondering if anyone knows what kind of fish they serve

I would highly recommend contacting Disney directly in this case. Explain to them that you eat saltwater fish at home, etc with no problems. They handle all sorts of allergy concerns on a regular basis and will be able to give you the best current information. Just emphasis that he can eat fish, just not fresh water. I do believe that they have separate fryers for allergies. I have to avoid milk and am pretty sure that my chicken has been fixed in a separate fryer.
