Grand Final week in Melbourne.....and I have the priviledge of heading into the Members area this week again. Sadly, its not on Grand Final day.

This year, I have a ultra-wide angle lens in tow and have managed to get all the hallowed turf in the one shot.

It's the last week in September and that means that Friday is Grand Final parade day.

I support Geelong .... so I was always going to be going no matter what.

However.....this year, there was an unexpected occurrance on the Photoboard.....the start of a Fall Scavenger Hunt. And there's a category in there called Football Game or Fall Related Sport!

So, as a Geelong supporter, I did a very bad thing today.



















I went to the Collingwood training session in Gosch's paddock.

Next year, I'm heading back towards Collins Street. Way too many journalists on Princes Bridge for my liking!

As a Saints supporter I am still in mourning from last year but DH Collingwood supporter enjoyed the pictures. He picked up standing room only tickets once at Vic Park I think in 2003 at the final training session he went to watch for around $100 back then. It was quite an unexpected surprise.

We were on Swanston St just near the corner of Collins. Was great spot but I only had our phone so pics are way crap compared to yours.

My husband loves the pics of the Collingwood training - much better than any others he has looked at on the web tonight!

$750 a ticket no way that is an annual pass for Disney or half a flight to the USA

Great photos!! I don't follow either team, (dare I say Carlton!) so I will watch the game (or parts of it) for score updates only!! And to see the entertainment. Melbourne certainly does know how to put on a show! Especially a sporting one!
Hope the weather plays ball and there isn't the hail that was predicted.
