Has anyone took a class while doing the program? I was looking on the college program website, and "Marketing You" sounds pretty interesting.

Any suggestions of classes to take, and can you explain them a little bit?

Also, approximately how much did it run you for the class portion, when all was said and done?

I took Hospitality Management my first CP. I really learned a lot. It was about 12 weeks long, I think.

if you're just taking them for credit, exp"ear"iential learning is only 3 hours a week while most classes are 4 and it's pretty easy...

but if you're looking for something that will really benefit you, marketing you is the way to go. it helps you to develop an incredible resume and teaches you how to network successfully (which is super important if you want to move up through the company!).

I was thinking about this one. I want to work in the AK vet programs. Do they help you to network with people that you want to get in with specifically?

I also want to work on more speaking skills. like for phone interviews etc. any recommendations on classes?

Disney Communications would probably be a pretty good course to look into. Its block time is four hours, but usually we ended class within the three hour mark. The instructor (and he was awesome, by the way) did some theory and rhetoric, but most of the class boiled down to improving the delivery of speeches and how to be better communicators.

Having said that, if you've taken any college-level communications class, the course may be a little too repetitive for your style.
