I've downloaded some free quick collages and can't figure out how to get the photo behind the grid lines. I watched a tutorial but it was in PS and I have PSE 7. When I hit send it to back it puts it really in the back so I can't see it. Can someone please explain this to me? Please. :goodvibes

I use Photoshop but I used to use PSE - I'm not sur eif you have all these tools - but, for me this is the easiest way to use a premade template:

Make sure that you have selected the layer where the actual space is

Use your magic wand tool to select that space (should show a marching ants selection)

Go to the photo you wish to insert, Choose Ctrl+A to select it and Ctrl + C to copy it.

Go back to your template - Choose Shift+Ctrl+V to paste it into your selection.

Resize using Ctrl + T (Transform) or drag your corner sliders to move and resize within the space.

This is called a layer mask.
