Just wondered what people's experiences have been when their day at DC turned out to have bad weather, whether cold or rain. I'm very nervous about booking mid December, but that's when we'll be in Orlando. Can anyone share their experiences? Did it ruin your day?

We went last December. The day we were there was overcast and a little misty with temperatures about 60 degrees and a slight breeze. It wasn't the most enjoyable weather but it wasn't too bad. Even with the less than perfect weather we still had a great time.

When we were in the water it was very comfortable. Even the dolphin lagoon, which is normally a bit cold, was nice to get into. The only problem was when we got out of the water. The wet suits helped a lot but it was still a little chilly. The worst part was the sand. We did not have footwear so walking around barefoot was not much fun. It would have been nice if the sand was heated. ;)

The sky cleared during the afternoon and it warmed up into the 70's. Ironically, most of the people had left by then.

December weather in Orlando is unpredictable so it's impossible to know what it will be like when you go. But it probably won't be cooler than it was when we went. If it is cool, make sure that you wear the full body wet suits and I would also recommend footwear of some kind. Even if the weather isn't perfect, you will still probably have a great time.

We went 3 years ago in late November. It was overcast and cool. We just wore the full wetsuits and we were fine. Hope this helps
