Cold food at festivals?

What do you do when the hot food ordered is served cold?

It happened more than once at the Food and Wine festival. Wait in line, get your food, find a place to sit and it's cold! Do you go back or suck it up? DH is snubbing food booths now and we're set to go to the Flower show in March. ☹

We were served cold fries at Columbia Harbor House. I insisted DH return the fries for replacement. CM not happy. Conference with manager needed. My husband was begrudgingly offered a very small replacement.

It's not just Disney, it's everywhere. We recently ate at a chicken fast food restaurant. Our food was served immediately; cold and stale. DH returned the food and the cashier said we should have asked for fresh food. We got our money back and left.

Disney food is expensive. I hate throwing it away uneaten.

I always return cold food. My husband and kids get a bit annoyed but used to it at this point. Why should I eat something I am not enjoying? I'd rather save the calories :P.

Only 2 options, 1- take it back or 2- suck it up and eat it anyways. If the line was super short and it was something I was really looking forward to, I might take it back. Otherwise, I'd probably just suck it up. Honestly though I have eaten at many, many food booths at Disney over the years and rarely, if ever, had the issue of cold food.

The few times its happened, I've taken it back with no issues and got hot food quickly.
