Cola

I am a big fan of cola drinks myself. Sometimes they are just perfect... I try to stick to the "zero" versions to not take in so many calories. I love some Coca Cola Zero Sugar every day. I think the best is the "Mexican" version of Coca Cola in a glass bottle.

I do love soda in general - also big on Coke Zero, preferably cherry.

I recently discovered Portland Syrups and their Cola flavor. Now this is not zero calorie, but fairly low for the amount you need. You mix it with plain seltzer for a somewhat cola flavored drink. The strength varies by how much of it you use. For myself, no more than a teaspoon for an 8 ounce glass. They have other flavors as well, such as Ginger Ale and Root Beer. I cannot drink the various zero cal beverages as they taste very nasty to me, but to each their own.

I'm trying to cut them out. Dr. Pepper Zero Sugar is usually my go-to, but it's been messing with my tummy of late and the Coke Zero seems to be even worse. I thought maybe it was the carbonation but I'm fine with my sparkling waters. I don't drink coffee, so soda was my caffeine. I have switched over to Crystal Light Energy Boost (Classic Lemonade) for my low cal (10 calories) caffeine kick. I also have the fruit punch flavor (5 calories) but it's not as good. I water it down more than recommended and just add a packet to my big Stanley mug, but it's also good for mixing with my daily collagen powder.

I like a good fountain cola, preferable COKE and I will do a mix of Coke Zero 2/3 rd and top it off with regular COKE.
Refreshing!!
