I understand that there are coffee makers in the rooms at CBR, and that coffee is provided. Does anyone know what brand of coffee that is provided? Also with all the negative comments that have been made about Orlando's water does the coffee really taste that bad? My husband and I are big coffee drinkers and to us there is nothing worse to start our day off but a cup of bad tasting coffee so any comments would be appreciated.

Hey vfb2girls-

First congrats on your 20th! We're celebrating ours a little early in May. Staying in cbr too.

Seems like I remember they charged everytime you used their coffee (it's been since 2001 since we've been) and it wasn't that great - so I used their machine but packed my own coffee, cream & sugar. And I'm a big water drinker, we have great water here in Memphis but others I don't tend to like, so we usually carry water bottles. You can always buy some water in the foodcourt or shops tho.

I don't remember the coffee being bad in the food court tho. And I HAVE to have my java in the am.:hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

Have a great trip!

We stayed at CBR last November. There was no coffee maker in our room (maybe you can request them?), but here is what we did:

Brought our grinder, mugs, press pot and electric kettle. Headed to the Poly first thing in the AM to buy bags of Kona coffee beans. Every morning, we made fresh ground and brewed Kona coffee. Nothing better.

We are bringing our own coffee because we are picky. We are also using bottle water. We did hear that at The Yacht club you can request a coffee maker even though they are not in the rooms. (free)Maybe you can also. If not what we were going to do is buy a cheap one for $10 at Walmart when we got there.

We stayed at CBR in August of 2003. Yes, there was a coffee maker in the room. Brand?? those small coffee filled filters that stay intact was used. You could bring your own ground in Ziplocs with small filters to use. 6-8 cup pot size
