As anyone found a coffee pod that works in the coffee makers that are in the deluxe/moderate rooms? We are big time coffee drinkers and can not stand Disney coffee or the pods that are left in the room by house keeping. Would like to find a brand in the store that works in those pod makers that taste like REAL coffee. Thanks for any info.

To brew decent coffee while at WDW, I suggest bringing with you a Bialetti Moka pot and your own beans! That is what we do when travelling. As close as you can get to a good espresso. Then if you want froth as well, you can use a small mixer running on 2AA batteries. And there's your latte or Cappucino!

You can also look up 'how to make your own coffee pod' on Youtube and there are a lot of videos. Might be worth taking a look at that if you're really stuck on your brand of coffee and wanted to travel with some :)

Before Keurig K-cups caught on, I had a single pod coffee maker. I tried all sorts of different brands, and different online coffee providers. They just weren't very good. Most tasted "stale." When the coffee maker started to leak water (less than 2 years old), I threw it out and got a traditional Cuisinart coffee maker. Meanwhile, my mom and one sister now have the Keurig. The coffee is better than pod coffee, but not by much. I think I will throw my coffee maker in the car when I drive to WDW in Nov. I have to start my day with decent coffee, and we all know the Disney food court coffee is wretched (freeze-dried + water). Same as we know Disney scrambled eggs come as a frozen pouch of boil-in-a-bag scrambled egg mix. (I just threw that in since I was on a rant about Disney "coffee.")
