Vero looks like so much fun...even when you have to stew for a while. I have done that before.

Does Vero have its own beach or are there other resorts sharing it? I loved your pictures of the ocean. The beach is so relaxing.

Wow, not a big fan of those balconies. I like to see over them when I am sitting there.

Archery looks like fun. Jeremy would enjoy that.

Can't wait to hear about the turtle walk.

Loving your report. I can relate to your meltdown. I have to admit to doing the same thing. Why can't they just read our minds? I'm glad you got some beach time in, it's the best way to relax.

They need a secret decoder ring I guess it sure would be easier if they could read our minds that is for sure!

Danielle would have gone for the archery too. She's very into the Hunger Games. That series has turned her into a "reader".

Isn't it wonderful how one book or series can light a fire like that that changes your whole life? I love it!

Thanks! I am very excited, haven't been since 2004! I probably won't make it next year but maybe the year after? If we really do the New Years trip, which is appearing more likley, no way can I go that close together.

It is a public beach. However the access is locked so you need your key to get back into the resort area. But you could access it from other points. There aren't any resorts right next to it, just a lot of lovely beach houses..and mansions...and condos. I'm sure some of hte condos are timeshares but no way to know. I have a lot more beach pictures coming up in later updates so you will get a better feel for what's nearby.

Yeah, me too. It's funny, the rail height really wasn't all that different at OKW but with the slats, you felt completely open. That enclosed base really made a huge difference in feel. And heat!

Archery looks like fun. Jeremy would enjoy that.

Welcome back!!!!!!!!! I'm actually in the air right now, gotta love in flight wifi! Taking a short break from work. Love being able to really work on the way there and back, means taking 2 less vacation days

Our youngest has that same drive to be perfect at everything. It can be a challenge, but also a huge benefit.

I also know very well the insanity of trying to get someplace on time. There always seems to be SOMETHING slowing us down. Missing hairbow, dog deciding to run from her cage, random attacks by Swedish homing pigeons... You just never can tell.
