wondering if it would be a good option for us..

On a daily baisis, i have 1 coffee cup in the morning and my husband fills a travel mug to drive in with..

On the weekends we both have a coffee cup or 2.

I don't like very strong coffee - i usually buy a big container at Costco for about 8.99 - not really sure how long it lasts us

My only concern would be company - i do have a very large coffeee ern - guess i could buy a smaller one.

What size Keurig do u think would work for us?

Are u happy with yours?

Best place to buy with the best price?

I have the Platunium or B70 which would work great for you & your DH because it does have a travel mug size they sell travel mug k-cups. I do not like my coffee real strong & I use the 9.5(10) oz size for alot of the k cups. Flavored I use the next size down. And I am getting really good at making iced coffee

I have the Office Pro. I got ours through my office coffee vendor, but you can buy it on the Keurig website. I like the Office Pro better than the ones you buy at department stores because it is quicker and brews hotter water.

We have the B60 - Signature model and LOVE it. I use it for the Hot Chocolate and Iced Tea and misc things like oatmeal, ramens etc. DH uses it for Tea and coffee. He loves being able to make just one cup. Ours allows you to remove the bottom to slide a travel cup under. That is what I do for the iced tea since I use a 24oz cup filled with ice to make it!

I just bought the b70 platinum one and love :hippie:It so much! I only drink flavored coffee and my dh drinks regular so it's great. Today for instance we got hit with a huge snow storm and I turned on the keriug and when each dd came in I made a cup of hot water for each in under a minute for hot coco our friend came to plow us and I could offer a cup of coffee quickly and that was really nice. It will be wonderful for company.
I bought mine at kohls for 40 percent off but I know there is a coupon code out there right now on this board for 30 percent off and there was free shipping.
My mom has the same one and when I asked her if I should buy it she raved about hers solo much.

Go for it it's wonderful:cool1:

just want to understand..the k-cups the same size cup will fill my coffee cup at home and the same size cup will fill my husbands travel coffee mug or we need differnent size coffee k-cups?

I'll start off by saying I don't drink coffee. :surfweb:
Next I'll say I love our Keurig! I frequently make my husband's coffee. He's a major coffee drinker, but we find he drinks less if he drinks quality coffee. We have the little Keurig, with the travel carrying case-its getting packed for WDW in 2 days! With the little Keurig, you have to add water for each cup of coffee you make-the others have a reservoir.
Its simple, easy, and great coffee. They also have tea, hot cider, and hot cocoa, although we haven't tried many of those. We buy our K-cups in bulk from greenmountaincoffee.com You can buy lots of different types of coffee there, not just Green Mountain. You can just order, or sign up and get regular deliveries.
Target had some sales on them before Christmas. I bought ours online, at Keurig's website, during a promotion. It doesn't take very long to make a cup, so unless you have large groups over for company, I wouldn't worry too much about that part. Ours sometimes becomes a conversation piece, and we're able to offer several different flavors, varieties (ex. decaf) to guests.

The k cups are one size u can choose your size cup on ur keriug. Mine is the platinum one and I have 5 choices iced 8oz,10oz,12oz, and 14oz. I use my k cups two times an I still have a great flavor.
They also sell a cup where u can put ur own coffee in but I hear that is is not easy hope this helps

so i guess the bigger the cup the less strong the coffee comes out? and u use it 2x in a row?

Apparently there is a larger brew size for travel mugs, that Kae is talking about - I haven't used those yet. Otherwise, it's one size k cup - you can brew a smaller (hence stronger) or larger (weaker) cup of coffee.

We have the basic B40, (over a year now) and love it. DH brews his travel mug every morning, I have two or three different flavors during the day, DD has hot chocolate..... it's great.

Not sure about figment, but I only buy extra bold flavors and then run the smallest cup size (6 oz on my machine) through, then shake the kcup, re-insert it in the machine and run another 6oz cup. It perfectly fills my Disney mugs with room left for creamer.

I saw at Walmart today that Mr. Coffee is making a "Keurig" machine now. Surprised me. I reallly, realllllly wish Starbucks would start putting out kcups!

I have not had a flavor problem with brewing the biggest size on the k cup. But in all fairness I do not like my coffee dark

That can't they under contract with Kraft who make the T-disks, kinda like the WDW thing with Nescafe;)

OK...went out and bought it..Got the Platnum at Costco - seems a bit big but the only one they had - comes with 60KCups -

My last question for now at least is if u put say use the "small mug" setting but actually use a big mug will it fill the entire mug or it makes the exact ounces?

hope that makes sense - i read that for example to make ice-coffee u should fill a 10ounce mug with ice and then set it for 6oz cup - will it fill the entire mug?

also upset they didn't give any samples of hot chocolate so will have to buy that for the kids..
