Can someone recommend some reasonably priced sellers of good roasted coffee beans that ship for a reasonable fee? Was going to get my son-in-law a coffee subscription for his birthday, but most of them seem over priced for what you get. Thanks!

a real treat for a true lover of coffee is the elusive 100% pure kona (most stuff sold are mediocre blends w/little actual kona) but the best price you can usually get is around $40 per pound plus shipping-UNLESS you have a costco membership, go online and order their 2 pack (1 pound each) which goes for a total of $59.99 which includes shipping. spectacular stuff.

Someone recommended Bones Coffee (www.bonescoffee.com) to me, so I got some for my DH (I don't drink coffee). I got him the whole bean decaf. He said it's wonderful coffee. They have a number of flavors, regular as well as decaf.

We use bones as well. My husband really enjoys there coffe both ground and whole bean. We also own a few of there mugs

Thanks for all of the suggestions. I think at some point I’m going to try them all for myself. I’ve decided life is too short to drink mediocre coffee.

For now, for my son-in-law, I went with La Colombe. I noticed there is a cafe in their city, so I asked my daughter if they’ve ever heard of it. It turns out they
have been there. They only have had canned (!) iced coffee from there, but she said it was very good. I figure this way, if he really likes one of the ones I sent him, he can just go there and stock up easily.

My husband works in coffee supply chain. We are very lucky to never have to buy coffee and we get to drink amazing stuff. He even has our 10 year old trying coffee

He recommended Atlas Coffee. He isn’t sure Sweet Maria’s sells roasted?

We also buy Black Riffle Coffee. Our son is in the Army and we always try to support our Veterans. Coffee is great. My husband likes the Just Black coffee, I like the Black Beards Delight. They also do a subscription service!
