My Dh and myself are planning on making a trip in October. Just wondering if the codes are available to everyone or just AP holders/DVC members? Kind of new at this and wanted to get the best rate possible. Also when would the codes for October be out?

We were there on codes last Oct-think they were available in August.

There might not be any more general codes this year because of MYW. The last batch of codes did not include any for the general public.

How do you know when the codes come out? Who would you call?

keep a close eye on these boards-usually here or mousesavers is where I hear first. If you booked with WDW you need to call reservations to find out if there is availability with that code for your ressie. If you used a TA they have to call and make the change. WDW will not let you make the change yourself in that case.
