CODES And AAA

I was wondering if someone could pleeeeease answer this question for me. I just booked a trip for Sept 17th for 8 nights at the wilderness lodge with the Disney dreammaker package all through AAA. I was wondering does anyone know if codes come out for the time that I'm going am I able to call the disney reservation number give them my confirmation # for my trip and have the code applied, mind you I've already applied about $800 to this trip and it has to be paid 45 days prior to the trip. So if I am able to do this and my trip is pretty much paid for by the time the codes come out what will happen to the amount that has already been applied. ( a refund or upgrade maybe??? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

If you book through a travel agency like AAA, then AAA has to make the contact with WDW. You can't "go direct" with them.

I have done this many times in the past-even after the 45 day mark and AAA has been extremely accomodating-make sure you contact them immediately when a code comes out and that they call right away or there is a chance you will miss out. Yes, AAA does have to make the call. WDW will not make the change if you have booked through AAA. Once, I was unable to reach my AAA TA (she was away on vacation when a code came out). When I called directly, they wanted me to completely rebook my vacation and cancel the AAA reservations in order to get the discount.

I don't have my reservation papers with me here at work, but it was about $2,900 something(that's for 2 adults and one child 3years of age on the Dream maker package and for 9 nights (the last night is for room only, so we could utilize our UPH tickets on the last day and sleep overnight for the next morning of our flight) so I believe it was $169 for the room portion of the package
without the package the room only rate for the one night was $189. Hope this helps
