Code Question

My neighbor got a postcard for a 30% off. He isnt going to go this year and he knows we go ever year. He gave it to me and said if I could use it to go ahead.
Here is my question:

Can I call Disney and make a reservation with this code or should I go through my neighbor who is a TA and have her book it using the code (would she be able to use it, since she knows both of us)?

It doesn't hurt to call & try.... however, the person booking the reservation will have to be there. There have been cases when people have shown up for their reservation that they had to pay rack rate because it wasn't them.

my friend gave me a 40% code and he used it along with his sister and a friend from work. they told him it can be used 5 times?

I called to ask a question and after they answered it he asked if I wanted to check availablity. I told him that I had a code but it was at work with my husband. He said that was fine and reserved a cabin with the 40% off..Will they ask for the code when I call back to pay?
