Code - Need to Vent

Tonight I got a pin code. :cool1: But when I tried to get a quote online it kept bouncing back that the zipcode wasn't correct. I tried my home zip, work zip, my old home zip and my sister in TX's zip. No luck! I don't have any other zips. :rotfl: It seems every time I get a code I can't use it online and end up having to call to find out info. It's frustrating because at this point I'm not ready to book but I'd like to get some numbers so I can run them past my sister and see what she thinks. I hate having to call and waste someone's time when I can easily do the research myself online.

Mine had my name, parents address. After pressing book now, it will show your pin # and name and address. Below that it says if the address isn't yours to call the number it lists. This is a different # than regular Disney booking. I called, gave them the correct info and thet booked me then and there. Quick and easy. Good luck.
 

My husband got a pin code and when I typed in our zip code it said it was incorrect. I couldn't figure out why. I then logged on to the disney site under my husband and his registered address was to our Florida condo. So I went back and typed in our vacation home zip and it worked..
 
That happened to me as well! I was so excited when I saw I had a pin, only to become extremely frustrated when I had to call to get all the info. Yet, for some reason, after I called and spoke to the CM, I tried signing back into the PIN online and its worked ever since. Go figure!
 
Okay, get this ... I got the same code, same zip code problem (except mine is a postal code:goodvibes). Anyway, I call to straighten things out, and I'm told that my address is at the Pop Centuy Resort:rotfl: Then, after I explain that I live in Canada, not Pop Century, I am told I cannot use the pin because it's for Florida residents only!!!:confused3 :rotfl2:

It's a good thing I didn't need the pin ... I just wanted to browse!!!

There must be some glitch on some of the codes going out b/c I tried one of the links in one of our emails and it did the same thing, told me my zip was wrong. I just went to another email (yes, please don't kill me, I get multiple codes on different emails!) and THAT one worked??? Bizarre.

Of course none of the codes are anything I want b/c they are room discounts and I want free dining. Grass is always greener... :laughing:

Trust me, I'm always happy when I get a code, even when I can't use them. LOL I just wish they'd get their system working properly so that when we get codes those of us who prefer booking online can do so without wanting to pull our hair out of our heads. LOL

I found out my sister got the same code, I'll have to have her try it and see if it works for her. At this point we're not booking a trip, we're still wrestling with taking my 3 year old autistic niece back, she didn't do well on her last trip there but has since started school and has made a few improvements with her anxiety. She's just a real creature of habit and doesn't do well when in unfamiliar surroundings. So hopefully we'll make a decision soon and get to use one of our codes!!
 
i got a pin code on feb 10, tried to book something on the 11th (online) and nothing was available! oh well i still have the booking for pops at the end of the month!
 
Nothing is working. Tried to cancel dining reservations and just keep getting error.
 
I had this happen to me too. Zip code didn't match. Called the reservation number listed on the e-mail and then I believe I was transferred to Grand Gatherings because I had 10 in my party.

Well, my zip code didn't work because it was for someone of the same last name in Baltimore, MD....I'm in KY!! They have no idea how that happened. The rep had to talk to 2 different managers for me to be "allowed" to use a pin code I received....I literally spent an hour and ten minutes on the phone this morning.

Did finally get POFQ booked at 35% for the first week of October though.

When I looked up room only without discounts and then calculated 35% off that, her quote exactly matched what I had figured.
 
Same problem!
I got two different PINs 1 in my last name and 1 in my maiden name. Neither worked with my address or my parent's. When I called they said the PINs were registered to someone with my maiden who lived in TEXAS.:confused3 Never lived there or know anyone from there.
They gave me the discount though! They said no one could make this story up if they tried.
